The Spot staff are very friendly and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the water view and saw bald eagles, heron, geese and mallard ducks. Window screen was kind of bent and gimpy, but did the job. We liked the in room keurig, fridge and microwave but there is no closet, just a coatrack and the space could be tight when one of us used the desk and the other person needed to walk by. Restaurant next door has a great happy hour and a patio on the water. Note, it’s not open for breakfast.

Beautiful location but quite noisy as the insulation between rooms isnt great. The end rooms had noisy doors which were fixed from slamming bit were still noisy whej people opened them. One bed had hair in it and wasnt very clean so thankfully i inspected the other bed and found clean sheets and no hair.

I appreciated this hotel’s cleanliness, modern fixtures, and upkeep of its landscape. It’s convenient location near a well-rated pub is a bonus, and it’s fairly central to other places in Sechelt.

Nice room, pleasant and helpful staff. The office doesn't open until check-in time. Once everyone is checked in, it seems they close. I've never encountered this before. I enjoyed being able to sit out back on the Vermont chairs. Unfortunately, thoughtless folks have been pitching their cigarette butts all around. An empty coffee can nearby would be good. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. You can turn up the heat manually on the dial near the room entrance. Gorgeous view out the back.

We stayed 2 weekends in a row. We loved it initially but 2nd weekend wasn’t as good as the first time. We checked in at 5:45 even though check in was 4pm, only to find out room was not ready. Waited for 30mins. Got the room which smelled like cleaning liquids since it was still wet from the cleaning. Found a spider under the pillows which disturbed whole sleep. A/c kept noises at night adding to the discomfort. The caretaker for the last weekend, Hector was an amazing man! He went over the top with the service, but the 2nd experience wasn’t good. We’d still like to comeback since the location is good and quiet!
