Unfortunately, had to cancel for family emergency 8 hours after booking and given they provided zero flexibility on my nonrefundable reservation, I had to eat the cost versus getting some credit. I’ve had previous luck on Hotels.com of getting my reservations refunded on travel issues out of my control. Despite Hotels.com trying, they were unsuccessful with the hotel. It looks nice, but definitely not staying there ever. The hotel gets my payment, but they will not get my future business. I know the issue was 100% on me, but my recommendation is to think twice before booking a nonrefundable rate.

the hotel is less than a year old, so everything was new and didn't have weird scents. the room had minimal carpet so that is great (carpeting holds the odors). Was quiet, window opened for fresh air, excellent lighting in bathroom with lots of space, nice and generous towels, happy to welcome our dog, good parking, lots of lighting for walking dog in neighborhood, near food, good price with full kitchen. NO complaints at all. We will stay here again as family is in area!

Room was one of the best we have had for a long time. From check-in to check-out we everything was great. My only complaint would be the corner room with a window where the television normally goes. Uncomfortable to have it at the side of bed. Nice having a full size refrigerator and walk-in shower. Will do that here again
