Inside, warm wood-paneled interiors and vaulted ceilings frame an open-concept great room where a stone fireplace and cozy leather seating invite you to slow down. Upstairs, a lofted game lounge with a poker table and sleeper sofas keeps the fun going, while downstairs, a red-felt pool table brings out everyone’s competitive streak.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and seating for nine across the dining table and island — perfect for shared meals and late-night snacks. Each of the three king bedrooms comes with a private ensuite bathroom complete with a walk-in shower and soaking tub, making sure everyone in your group gets their own moment of luxury.

With space for up to 10 guests, board games on the shelf, a washer/dryer for convenience, and cozy nooks inside and out, Big Bear Cove is everything a mountain getaway should be — peaceful, playful, and perfectly placed in the heart of the Smokies.

If you love spending time in nature, staying active, and celebrating wildlife, a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains is a must. Located along the Tennessee/North Carolina border and home to the country's most visited national park, the Smokies provide over 800 miles of hiking trails, rivers, and a good chance at a black bear sighting. Home Truths:
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please have a 4WD or AWD vehicle and carry chains only during heavy snowfall in the winter months. Driveways or roads leading to the property can be steep and will require these.

Parking Details:
- Parking is available directly in front of the home (maximum 4 cars); please note this area is shared with 1620 Silver Poplar.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
