The Space

Upon arriving at Sunshine Chalet you’ll notice, that the minimalist aesthetic with neutral tones creates an elegant yet cozy feel. Luxury mattresses and linens throughout the chalet and natural light refines and highlights the house in the forest experience. Peer through the expansive windows to immerse yourself in the pine, oaks and fern forest. Cuddle up by the fire pit while seeking the next adventure. Relax, revitalize and pamper yourselves while enjoying soothing and private views all while being perched in the trees and surrounded by nature.

Yoga mats and blocks provided for a restoring yoga session. Feel free to take them out on the porch for an immersive experience!

A quiet separate space to catch up on any call needs to ensure you can stay longer!

Also equipped with a built-in wardrobe for ease in unpacking and enjoying your brief or extended stay.

A full-size washer and dryer are located inside. Limited detergent pods are provided.

coffee or a cocktail while the sunset colors surround you. Soak up the

sun, the stars, and the fresh mountain air in one of the many lounging spaces.

• Weber propane grill available for all of your grilling-inspired meals!



Guest access

Guests self-check in with an electronic key access into the chalet. Cabin is located near 4 glamping tents with plenty of space in between, all super private and a good short hike away. Occasionally you may run into glampers as you leave the grounds.



WINTER DRIVING & PARKING

The road leading to the private entrance is paved and easily accessible. The private driveway is gravel, and the entry area is flat and easily navigable. The road coming to the home is not steep.. Ggle maps takes you right to the entrance.



Other things to note

PRIVACY

Sunshine Chalet is in a small quiet acreage of land, only ones around are 4 glamping tents which you can also rent for your friends or family. Tents are not visible from the chalet. No loud music and please observe quiet hours from 9:00pm to 7:00am.



SECURITY CAMERA

To ensure you arrive and depart safely, there is a security camera located on the laundry shed in the driveway. This only monitors the driveway activity and walkway to the chalet.



PLEASE BE KIND TO THE SEPTIC SYSTEM

In the bathroom, only flush toilet paper. Kindly dispose of all other products in the trash, even the feminine "flushable” ones. In the kitchen, there is no garbage disposal. Please put food scraps in the trash can.

I am a medical research professional who loves to travel the world and stay in different spots. A few years back I decided to start hosting and I wanted to give guests the kind of experience I would want for myself.

Canopy Ridge allows for the ultimate peace and tranquility. Located alongside four glamping tents.

The minute I saw this property I knew it was special. It gave me immediate tranquility and peace. The cabin and tents are beautifully decorated with their own private space, hammocks and all! The property itself is breathtaking that photos don't convey the beauty and love that went into building the campground.

Out of town in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Not many houses nearby, but glampers are located on Canopy Ridge.

ATTRACTIONS (PIGEON FORGE AREA):

-About 5 miles away from the heart of Downtown Pigeon Forge with access to all kinds of attractions and many restaurant options.

-About 10 miles away from well known Gatlinburg, Tennessee. A small charming town at the mouth of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

-About 5 miles distance to The Island. Playful destination with many unique shops, casual restaurants and amusement rides plus the well knows Margaritaville Hotel.

-Dollywood Splash Country: Is a water park with rustic themed water slides inspired by singer Dolly Parton,

-Hatfield and McCoy dinner show: Family friendly homestyle dinner feast followed by dancing and comedy.
