Mtn Jewel Cozy W / View hyvin yksityinen!

Mountan Jewel sijaitsee Shagbark yhteisössä pois Wears Valley Road Pigeon Forge kaupungin rajojen. Se on erittäin suuri makuuhuone tasolla parisänky, poreallas ja kylpyamme. 3 glasses, multiple bulbs out, not enough dishes, most uncomfortable furniture ever, needs bigger coffee cups, needs more dishes,no baking pans, nice cabin needs alot of maintenance. Jacuzzi inside jets are so weak.

This is a beautiful cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Cathy was very friendly and helpful. The only thing is the driveway was very steep.

Anniversary 2024

Last minute decision to go to the Smokey Mountains for our 36th anniversary. Looked on line for several places and lucked up to find Mountain Jewel. This cabin was clean and convenient to everything we wanted to do, Cades Cove, Roaring Fork, Greenbrier and Pigeon Forge. Cathy was very nice and made sure everything was ready for us even though she only had one day notice!. Would definitely book again. The cabin is dated so if you are looking for something newer and fancy, this would not be for you.

Lovely cabin in beautiful location

We wanted to be close enough to the amenities of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg but away from the noise and traffic. This cabin is the perfect solution. The Shagbark community is quiet and beautiful, and the cabin had everything we needed. Will definitely be happy to stay here again.

Mountain cabin

Very cute cabin with wonderful view. Hot tub on back deck was such a treat. Bed was super comfortable. Communication with manager was excellent. Roads are very steep and narrow.

Weekend Away

Mountain Jewel cabin was in a quiet area. The cabin seemed older and well worn. Some cleaning issues and a plumbing leak discovered the day we left. Also sulfur smell from water was very unpleasant in upstairs bathroom. King bed was comfortable. Overall I would rate a 3 out of 5. Probably would not return.

Secluded cabin in the mountains is exactly what you get with this Mountain Jewel. The interior is full on cabin....complete with lots of wood and rustic charm. This was exactly what we were looking for. Only wish would have been a little bit of a view of the mountain side from the deck.

Nice getaway

Was a wonderful cabin. Close to Pigeon Forge but still off the beaten path. The only negative was if you are a tall person or obese person, the shower in the cabin is not for you. My husband is tall and he had a terrible time showering. I’m a littler person and it was still tight for me. Overall, nice place.

Mountain Jewel is not a jewel-it's a dump

Mountain Jewel is not…a jewel or a place where you would care to stay when paying a dear sum per night. We rented the cabin for four nights and were greatly disappointed and uncomfortable staying there. We would have left, except for the fact that we were in the development with all our family in other cabins. Thankfully, we neither cooked, or stayed there during the day. We only slept there (if you can call tossing and turning sleep.) In summary: -Cabin had not been cleaned prior to our arrival; and it reeked of fried fish -Bad bed; filthy extra pillows with no cases; undersized grimy, memory foam topper -Plumbing/taps were installed incorrectly; lack of pressure balanced fixtures led to scalding in shower; shower drained slowly, close to overflowing -Shower was grimy, aluminum frame from old door remained in place and had sharp edges -Interior lighting was either blazing ceiling lights or inadequate lamps -TVs were small -Kitchen was not well equipped; stove was filthy -Floors sloped -Decor of serious looking native Americans was not attractive -Outdoor rocking chairs need replacement. This was an uncomfortable, old, worn-out has-been of a vacation rental. It needs total overhaul.

This place had everything!

This place was set up with everything! I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was peaceful and clean. It was comfortable. My kids loved the jacuzzi! I really appreciate all the accommodations of this cabin.

Husband found what he was pretty sure was a cat dropping inside of the house, the first day of our check in. There was no pet hair or any other clues to it being a dog or other pet of some sort 🤔 so we're just going with what he thought. Otherwise, very very very beautiful home!!

Such a cute cabin

Cathy Qualls was very accessible and accommodating. If we needed anything or had any questions, we were able to reach her very quickly and she was always kind and helpful. The cabin itself was very cute. Great views, comfy bed, etc. My only two negatives were that there were no cooking essentials like oil, salt or pepper. Thankfully there is a store nearby, but it would've been nice to not purchase new salt and pepper shakers for a 4 day trip. That aside, this cabin is in a great location. There is a lot to do within a 30-40 minute car ride. Amazing hiking at the national park, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, etc. I wish we booked an extra day!
