Welcome to your own Smoky Mountain lodge set amongst the beauty and splendor of the Great Smoky Mountains! Whether you're looking for a private retreat for your family, or a base camp for several families and friends - you'll have 3500 sq ft all to yourselves. Your location is unbeatable as you're 3 mins from Dollywood/Splash Country, 5 mins from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, and 15 mins from downtown Gatlinburg.
Besides the central location, at Applewood Mountain Lodge you'll find -

If you’re looking for a log cabin that has more than enough space for family reunions, corporate retreats, church getaways, or any other large-group vacation, we believe Applewood Mountain Lodge is it.

7 bedrooms all in different themes: Downstairs - Fox Den (King bed/private bathroom), Wilderness Retreat (queen size bed). Upstairs - Bear Cub Den (2 bunk beds that sleep 6 children), Moose Lodge (King master bedroom/private bathroom), Duck & Turtle Pond (queen size bed, door leads to balcony and hot tub), Deer Run (queen size bed) & Horse Stable (full size bed).

Game room is recently renovated includes Foosball, HD TV, Shuffleboard, and more (downstairs). Upstairs is a 'movie room' with large windows, a sectional couch, TV and DVD player, and streaming capabilities.
Large fully equipped kitchen with all necessities (small appliances, pantry, all silverware, plates, cups, travel mugs, lots of coffee & tea items, spices and much more).

**We love our four-legged friends, and happy to allow them at the lodge, as long as you let us know in advance per the pet fee in booking. Please be sure to clean up after them:) There will be an additional deep cleaning fee of $1000 charged if excessive pet hair, damage, or accidents require extra cleaning services beyond a standard turnover.

***Parking - As is common in the mountains, the driveway is steep though rarely causes problems. In case any ice causes the road to be too slick, there's a parking pad at the bottom of the driveway that you're welcome to use.

House has plenty of room for large family, close to all attractions and shopping. Place very comfortable, great hot tub and space for kids to hang out. Host very accommodating and quick to reply. The house and rooms were fine. The game room was a joke, not very accessible for older people. The driveway was almost a disaster especially when wet. It took me three tries flooring my engine to get up. I am surprised no one has slid off and turned over.

The property was great. Met all expectations for our family vacation with a group of 16. The rooms and layout were as pictured, the location was great, very short drive to downtown Pigeon Forge and right by Dollywood. It is right in the mountains, so definitely need to use caution for bears. We had a visit by a bear in the driveway within our first hour, so keep watch on the kiddos, especially if going to extra room, which is accessed from separate, outside entrance.

Great location for Dollywood and downtown pigeon Forge. Had a great time with family and friends there. Very accommodating. The driveway is a bit steep, especially when wet, but if you back up, it really helps. Great stay!

Great stay

We had a great week with family! The house was clean and spacious. Very short drive to Dollywood and anything else we wanted to do. You can see Dollywood’s fireworks at night. Luke was very responsive to any questioned we had. We would stay here again.
