Beautiful view! 3 levels with lots of room for our group of 26!(12 adults, 14 children). Love the long dining table and benches! Love the large parking area(not on the road), like many of the houses up there. Very comfortable beds and clean! So much to do inside the house( ping pong, pool table, air hockey, theatre room, etc)

We found the cabin to be as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures. Our host was helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen was very well appointed. We had plates, utensils and cooking pans for every meal we cooked. We had fifteen people in our group. The theater room was great, along with the air hockey table, for entertaining the grandkids. The location was breath taking, but, it was at least a 30 minute drive to get to most of the attractions. View was worth it!!

We stayed April 1 to 6, 2026. The lodge was clean and comfortable. There were 23 of us there for a family reunion and everyone had a bed. The bedroom situation was different than initially described, but there were even more beds than we expected. Beautiful mountain views from the cabin. It is about 1/2 hour from Pigeon Forge. Had a great time around the fire pit at night. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of room for dining. Fun things for the teens to do. We wish we could have stayed longer. We recommend this lodge to other large families.

We had an incredible stay at this mountain house and would absolutely come back. The views alone are worth it—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop to relax and unwind.The home itself is very well thought out and stocked with everything you could need. We really appreciated all the extra touches like toiletries, coffee, and condiments—it made settling in effortless and feel more like home than a rental.The hot tub was a highlight, especially in the evenings with the mountain views, and the game room was a huge hit for both adults and kids. There was always something to do, whether it was relaxing or having fun together.The proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was convenient. Overall, this place strikes a great balance between comfort, convenience, and experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mountain getaway.

The property, to include the home itself and the land was fantastic. The home was booked for myself and 7 others. We were on a motorcycle trip from the Philadelphia area and stayed for three nights. The house had everything we needed and was super comfortable and clean. All of us enjoyed being so close to the Smoky Mountains and the awesome roads that surrounded the area. We road all day but looked forward to returning to the house in the evening, preparing dinner and then enjoying the fire pit with the unbelievable views. Thanks so much and we will definitely be returning.

The house is lovely and the view is unbeatable! However: -The MAIN refrigerator in the kitchen was not working, an issue the owners knew about but did not communicate. Second refrig in kitchen also not keeping temperature. Bear lock on outside refrig was broken. ONLY usable refrig in property was small bar refrig on the lower level. Owner made arrangements for new refrig to be delivered but gave NO updates so we waited OVER 12 HOURS unable to leave! -The sheets do not fit the beds. Had to put the sheets back on the bottom mattress MANY times throughout the night. -One AC was not working properly, leaving one of the upstairs bedrooms VERY warm. -Hot tub was advertised as being freshly filled before each stay. This was NOT the case, the water had a green hue and when tested all the PH levels were below safe levels. -Grills outside not protected from the bears & were not usable. -Air hockey game not working. -TV’s missing controls and have NO instructions for use. No pot holders in the kitchen & only 1 kitchen towel. Nothing in the instructions told us to bring these items. -Pots and pans in the kitchen need upgrading, basically unsafe to use as the non-stick coating is chipping. -Dehumidifiers had to be emptied to keep them working. Also not communicated to us. -Curtains in the master bedroom do not provide privacy to the road facing windows. To say that we were disappointed in our stay is an understatement. This was not the “luxury Smokey Mountain retreat” we were expecting!

Beautiful home - great views and bonding with my family

I genuinely had such an amazing experience staying in this home. The layout of the house being so open allowed us all to bond in the communal spaces, while still being sectioned enough that the kids could have fun in the basement while we hung out in the living room or played poker upstairs. The kids really had a fun time with bunk beds and the mini movie theatre. It was nice that they also had games to play in the basement so they weren't on their phones as much. The kitchen was lovely and everyone was able to enjoy our meals at the same table together which I really liked. I loved the view from the driveway and hot tub and we were able to watch the sunset each night. Another bonus were the nearby activities so when we got bored of being at home, we were able to drive around town and visit Dollywood and "Goats on the Roof", as well as go hiking at nearby trails. Overall, this home created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and my family and I truly had such a wonderful experience. Everything was clean and orderly and the layout of the house was perfect for bonding with my family combined with a pretty view. I would likely visit again!

What an amazing stay! The cabin was spotless, and the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning. It’s so peaceful! We had nearly 20 people, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked, the rooms were comfy and warm, and the jacuzzi was perfect. We also had so much fun with all the board games, video games, and the movie theater with endless movie options.One thing to keep in mind, if you’re visiting during the winter, it can take a while for the roads to be cleared after a snowstorm. We went during heavy snow and ended up missing our flight because we couldn’t leave the cabin until the roads were safe. Definitely something to plan for, but other than that, it was a fantastic trip.

Great Mountain Cabin

This was our second time staying at The Knotty Logde. We enjoyed it so much 5 years ago that we decided we should come again for our family trip. We love the layout of the house and that there is plenty of space for our entire group consisting of my husband’s parents, sisters, their children and our children. The three levels allowed us to all be in the same house spending quality time together while also spreading out enough to have our own space. We love that there is a large enough table for the whole group to have meals together!! This was one of the selling points for my mother in law when selecting a location. I wish I’d brought some more kitchen towels or pot holders though. Preparing a meal for a large group with the starter set supplied wasn’t the best. I’ll remember that for next time though!Our favorite activities were sitting by the fireplace relaxing, playing pool upstairs, and playing ping pong downstairs. We love that this cabin has adequate parking and a nice, flat, paved area for the fire pit. We enjoyed making s’mores outdoors. Many other cabins I’ve seen have very short, steep driveways for parking and that was not the case with the Knotty Lodge! The kids enjoyed the option to play outside in a safe space with the tether ball or explore the area of “woods” right next to the parking area. The theatre area and air hockey table could use some updating/maintenance to be enjoyed to the fullest. Besides that, we loved the downstairs area as well.

Beautiful Home, terrible smell

We love The Great Smokey Mountains and the house was beautifully designed with spectacular views. Furniture, bedding, linens, bathrooms all met our expectations. However there was an issue with a terrible smell coming from behind the walls, there was definitely something dead. I messaged the manager on Thursday when we arrived because we noticed the smell immediately. We didn't get a reply until Friday afternoon, due to the snow they were unable to send anyone, which is completely understandable. Also, the maintenance people were there when my daughters arrived, we know they smelled it also because they went out and bought plug in air freshners. They said they looked around and couldn't find anything. Knowing we were going to have to deal with it we decided to try to find the source ourselves. After getting the code to the utility room we were able to find the problem. We never found any rodents but we found a lot of feces and black stained wood from urine that had to be there for a long time. The smell was so bad we had covered up all the return air vents with foil. The home was perfect otherwise but I wouldn't reccomend staying there unless you know the problem has been fixed.I did send photos to msnagement and she said the problem was going to be addressed immediately. Unfortunately it was to late for our stay.
