Shoal Bay holiday house

The Location - The white sands and blue waters of Shoal Bay beach is just a short 450m stroll where you will also discover restaurants, bars, cafes and boutique shops. Take a walk to the top of Tomaree Headland or trails through the National Park (600m from house), cast a line or enjoy a bike ride along the cycleway to Fingal Bay (bike hire available at Shoal Bay). Shoal Bay offers four swimming beaches including Zenith, Wreck and Box Beach (not surf patrolled) as well as the calm waters of Shoal Bays big beach which runs from the headlands through to the coastal patrol at Little Beach. Fingal Bay is close by (2.3km) and offers a patrolled surf beach, cafes, restaurants and a playground. Once you stay here you will want to come back time and time again!

The House - A comfortable single level family home offers floorboards throughout, air conditioned open plan living area with flat screen TV, Foxtel, DVD, CD player plus bi-fold doors that open up to the entertainment balcony with an in-built gas BBQ and outdoor setting for 10 guests. There is separate tiled dining area with a ceiling fan.The fully equipped kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances including full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, under-bench oven and glass stove-top.

The spacious master bedroom comes with a queen size bed, built-in robe, small TV and a private ensuite bathroom with glass shower, vanity and toilet. The second bedroom is ideal for a young family with a tri-bunk bed (single on-top with a double on-bottom) and built-in robe. The third bedroom also has a tri-bunk bed, bedside table and built-in robe with the fourth bedroom offering a queen size bed, built-in robe plus a third TV. The main bathroom has a corner bath, glass shower, vanity and toilet.

Other features include a fully equipped laundry with top loading washer and dryer, plus internal access to the single lock-up garage. There is a second car space on the driveway as well as boat parking on the level grassed area at the front and side of this corner block making it easy to park your trailer boat or jet skis.

There are smoke alarms at this property.

House is dirty, in poor condition and has lots of damaged walls, fittings and furniture

Whilst the location is fantastic, the entire house needs a major refresh, to the point that even the whisk is broken. Could be great, but the overall cleanliness, and damage to the place, and the condition needs major updating.

Don’t hire this house

It was dirt. The bbq was dirt and rusty unable to be used. We had 10 people in the house and had to eat out every day for a week because we couldn’t use the BBQ. Property Manager didn’t care about it offered no solution. If we are on holidays we don’t want to use the kitchen we want BBQs and be able to enjoy the outdoors. Half the lights in house were broken. The toilet was broken the cleaners didn’t tell the properly manager so we had to deal with that. Disgusting

Dreadful stay at shoal bay

House was absolutely dirty when we checked in and very disappointed from day dot. just things we saw everyday was disgusting the whole property needs a new paint job and new make over and to be cleaned corner to corner

Great large spacious home, perfect for our boys weekend away fishing

Great location, spacious home that was great for our large group.
