Possibly the worst stay I have had. I checked in late. Hotel smelled of mildew and something else, I can’t put my finger on but the smell was OVERWHELMING. considered leaving but didn’t want to take a chance the next place would be the same. Room was clean-ish, carpet had a lot of questionable stains. Shower wouldn’t turn on all the way so it just dribbled on me. Booked it because I had stayed at a different Wingate hotel the night prior despite the lower rating. I should have believed the star rating and read bad reviews beforehand. I left as soon as I woke up.

I normally don’t leave reviews because I figure a bed is a bed but dang. This place was all around just bad. The front desk was trying but that’s it. Checking in at 9pm after 9 hours of driving was not the best. Waited way too long for a room that I already prepaid for. The room reeked of mildew as we walked in. Key didn’t work for squat. Dead bugs on the bed. Ceiling was gross,bathroom falling apart. I just kept telling myself just sleep so I could get the hell out of there as soon as possible.

Nice hotel. Pretty clean. Carpets were a little dirty, but not bad. If you are on the side facing the gas station, it can be a little noisy with thumping music. But overall pleased with the value, and lady up front that checked me in was super nice.
