Came across as a workers weekly rental establishment. Conveniently close to the interstate but a bit too road noisy. Also conveniently close to the airport but nothing (restaurants) to walk to. Room was clean and comfortable … common's not so much.

It was stated on the Expedia site that check in time was 3pm. Arrived to check in was told check in time was wrong to come back at 4. Came back at 4 only to be told they didn’t have a room for me 5 month prego my 5 year old and 12 year old and that they couldn’t tell me when they would have one. They told me they could take my phone number and give me a call. That third party customers were on the bottom of their list I then called expedia spent over an hour trying to find a new hotel only to be told that there was nothing they could do they couldn’t find another hotel, and they would send refund!!! Thank goodness i had my husband looking while i was on the phone and we got a room at the Rockwood Hotel in Cape! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them! I will never use expedia again and Candlewood in Cape Girardeau, MO is never a place i’ll stay ever again!

Nice hotel and pretty well maintained. Staff did accommodate us when we accidently booked a handicap room. However, new room evidently had recent carpet cleaning and carpets were wet and everything in the room was damp throughout stay. Livable but annoying.

I will not book there ever again

While the room was nice and clean, the constant noise from the highway was overbearing. My room was on the highway side and I didn't catch any sleep for the 2 nights I was there. Sitting so close to the highway, the hotel didn't insulate their walls and windows very good and the result is a sleepless night for guests...

Everything was WONDERFUL!!! We stayed at another hotel in Cape Girardeau, and after staying in Candlewood, I felt like a princess!!! The staff was very helpful!! The cleanliness was spot on!!! The hotel room was very, very spacious!! I will definitely stay here again.
