A nice place to stop near Gila Cliff Dwellings

Nicely decorated - we had a great baby blue mini-fridge and microwave. Waffles available at continental breakfast but nothing else hot (except toast/bagel). Only major negative was that despite their advertising claiming "strong WiFi throughout the property," we never got it to work in the room. Poor signal on all SSIDs and no Internet.

The room has a huge spot of black mold growing in the bathroom. The room smelt of cigarettes, the TV was inoperable. Upon checking in, I was first given a room that was already being used. Luckily I heard people inside the room before using the key card as I was about too. Not safe. Upon getting a new room, I discovered black mold growing in the bathroom. Unacceptable. The entire room smelt of cigarettes and there were burn marks present in the room. Upon messaging staff, I was only told they’d inform management and maintenance. UNACCEPTABLE. There is a legal obligation to provide a safe, clean, and habitable environment as a hotel, it seems all 3 boxes were not checked.

The bed was soft. There was no water available in the lobby for oatmeal, drinking, etc. on Sunday morning. The towels were thin, one thinner than the other.

It met my basic requirements of safety for me and my vehicle, quietness during day and night, and working basic amenities such as shower, air conditioner and TV. And when I showed up after hours at 11pm to check in, I saw a number to call where the staff told me the code to my lock box that was next to the front door to get my room key, which I've never seen before and was very convenient so I could get into my room without delay. I would definitely stay there again!
