Enjoy the best of both worlds – a house situated on the sound with unobstructed views and access to the beach! A playground for both adults and children.

The house features an open style kitchen, family room, and dining room affording 180° views of ocean and intracoastal waterway. A fully stocked gourmet style kitchen with Bosch appliances is something to be enjoyed, enhanced by views of the ocean and sound. The spacious kitchen also allows many helping hands to make the experience much easier on the main chef.

The home was totally remodeled in 2006 to provide us with all the bells and whistles we wanted in a dream house. It is divided into two sections: upstairs for the adults to relax and visit; and downstairs for the younger ones to enjoy quiet time or to watch TV, movies, or play many of the games provided. And everyone can enjoy the shuffleboard table and beach games downstairs!

Enjoy all the activities associated with sound access including kayaking (several provided), canoeing (one provided), crabbing (crab traps available), and clamming. The house has a pier on a large marsh bay area that is safe kayaking for children (avg depth of 3 ft). The waterway is several hundred yards away and accessible at high tide with a small boat. Yachts and fishing vessels are a pleasure to watch from our decks and dock, as well as many varieties of birds including osprey, great herons, egrets, and pelicans. Relax in the hot tub while watching the sun set over the waterway and under the stars at night.

The outdoor shower under the front deck is a great accommodation to rinse off all the sand and sunscreen from a day on the beach, which can be accessed using a private walkover across the street!

Our stay was wonderful. We loved the layout of the house and open kitchen floor plan. The house has great outside options between the front and back. We also took advantage of the kayaks and paddle board that are included with the house. The house has everything you need and Greg was very kind and was very responsive to communication. Beach access was just over the dune right in front of the house. We would absolutely return here again!

This house has it all. Dock leading down to the sound was perfection. We enjoyed the sunsets, caught crabs in the crab traps and enjoyed kayaking in the evenings Loved that we walked across the street to our private stairs over the dunes and out to the beach. The house has a wonderful working kitchen where we cooked our crabs as the whole family gathered. Beautiful view of the ocean from the rocking chairs on the front porch. Wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy all the amenities. Our grandsons enjoyed the pac man machine and I liked the puzzles and books available for the guests. In the large basement recreation area. There was something for three generations to enjoy. We are already talking about a trip next year and staying in this home again next year.

Views Galore, Vintage Beach Experience

Absolutely enjoyed our family vacation in this nostalgic raised beach cottage. The porches and natural light were so relaxing. So lovely to enjoy the sound as well as the beach, great serving/kitchen design and wonderful book collection. Would definitely stay again!
