The Owner lives in a house on the top floor, and the rental room is on the ground level below. It is not what I would call an apartment. It doesn't have a separate bedroom (more like a studio setup), and it does not have a kitchen, dining area, or place to do dishes unless you use the bathroom sink. It does have a mini-fridge, microwave, and toaster oven. Dishware included two plates, two bowls, and plastic utensils. I was expecting a space where I could cook a breakfast and/or lunch and sit at a table to eat the meal. The air conditioning is connected to both the owner's floor and the rental, so to have an adjustment, you must contact her and ask. For heat, there is a little space heater you can see next to the bed in the picture. The shower's hot/cold is reversed, and you have to remember that, but it is a very big shower! Maybe I didn't read the description of the rental correctly, but it was not what I was expecting. We made do and adjusted our plans accordingly. We would not have stopped to get groceries on our way to the unit if I had known what we were/were not going to have available. I also wouldn't have expected the contracted pest control person to come during our stay, but he was friendly and in and out quickly. Totally fine place to stay if you have the right expectations.
