The room is OK but kitchen was empty and refrigerator was sp dirty outside and bathroom conditions are huge dissaster. All 3 days the water was falling fro ceiling in the bathroom.

The room was absolutely disgusting. It smelled awful as soon as you come off the elevator. The tub was dirty and looked like it had mold on it. The shower curtain rod was hanging out of the wall. The “clean” towels were definitely not clean. The bathroom sink was stained. The carpets were ripped up and felt dirty. The only thing that stopped us from leaving and finding another place to stay was that the sheets were clean.

I don’t even know how they are doing business . The entire walkway stinks and smells like trash. The carpets in hallway were dirty. The room appliances were falling apart. doors hinges were broken in room where I stayed. Totally felt I wasted my money.

Misleading Listing and Poor Conditions – Not Family-Friendly I recently stayed at Extended Stay America Suites Newark Woodbridge after booking through Expedia, where it stated that breakfast was included. However, the “breakfast” was extremely basic—just tea, coffee, chocolate bars, and cupcakes. This is not a full breakfast by any standard and was quite misleading. The overall experience at the hotel was very disappointing. The hallways constantly smelled bad, with lingering odors of food, garbage, and even weed. The place felt unclean, noisy, and unsafe, and definitely not suitable for families. It also became clear that many people are living in the hotel long-term, likely while transitioning into permanent housing. This created a very different environment from a typical hotel—it felt more like a residential facility than a place for short stays or vacations. The bathroom was not clean, and the shower curtain was not hanging properly. The air conditioner was faulty and made loud, disturbing noises, which made sleeping difficult. Despite all this, I will say the staff were polite and helpful, which was the only redeeming aspect of the stay. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to families or travelers looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable stay. Expedia should be more transparent in its listings to avoid misleading guests about the nature of the property and the amenities offered.

My interactions with the hotel staff were limited, but they were courteous and professional, with no issues to report. Unfortunately, the condition of the property was deeply disappointing. The hallways were visibly dirty and had an unpleasant odor, particularly noticeable at night. This significantly detracted from our stay. I traveled with family, and they were equally dissatisfied with the experience, expressing frustration over my choice of this hotel. The pervasive unpleasant smell was unlike anything I’ve encountered in my travels, and the property is in urgent need of a thorough renovation. Also, for some reason, I got the worst room in the hotel. I’ll never visit and DO NOT recommend this place.

The shower had dirt or mold all black spots all over it. There was a left over bar of soap on the ledge of shower. And it looked like it was never cleaned. There was no hand soap in the whole place or paper towels. We asked for a kitchen set to cook since there was a stove provided. Nothing to clean the dishes with. The couches were cracked and warn down. Felt dirty. The kitchen cabinets were falling off the hinges. I usually love Extended stay. This location was definitely not a good one. Never going back to this location.
