Great views, Great space!

We were a party of 14 so we fit into this villa perfectly. The view from the balconies are amazing, the room sizes are ample and the property is quite beautiful if not a little dated. Giuseppina the villa manager was fantastic-on arrival, we found a delicious bottle of limoncello and cake (a secret recipe), she was very informative and helpful. What i didn't realise though was that she came everyday to do a cleaning service which for us really wasn't necessary but in the long run was great as we had three elderly women in their late 70's and this villa was not great for them. Most taxis will not come to the villa because of the narrow and badly conditioned road up to it or are frightfully expensive. We found out at the end of our trip that there was another entrance to the villa along a better road at the rear of the property. Giuseppina though was very helpful in taking the ladies into the town by her car and driving us to get groceries. The walk down into Sorrento is not extremely far and so much easier than coming back up, it is manageable if you are in good health. The road to the villa is very steep and there are a lot of steps and inclines. The villa itself is on three levels which was not the best for our elderly and children as the main kitchen, dining and lounge area are on the top floor and we had a few falls. The main reason i booked the villa was because of the outdoor pizza oven but unfortunately this was out of use as there were nets collecting the olives.
