Wonderful breakfast! Very nice staff! Great location!! Beds were squeaky, bathtub needed remodeled or resurfaced, and water was not always hot, just lukewarm. I would stay here again for all the good things. It was a good value!

It was our first time to South padre , it was fantastic staying at the rose beach resort made it even better close to the gulf the view from our room was exceptional. Our room was very clean ready for us the staff was amazing, breakfast was surely a jump start to our day . It included everything very good .Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay !

Unfortunately our room was below the dining room. Had to complain to management as the scrapping of chairs over 3 hours every morning got to us. My complaint was death with pretty well but I had to call Expedia to get their approval for a refund. Refund was generous from Sand Rose Resort. Received the refund promptly on my card.

Dated facility. Never anyone at front desk or in coffee shop. Sheets rough and stiff. Smelled strongly of pesticide when we opened balcony. Noisy in morning on 4th floor were breakfast is served.

The Hotel did not seem to be busy as to be expected for a Sunday-Monday night booking. The fridge did not work at all. Why would we be booked into a room directly below the breakfast area. Tables being moved and other breakfast activities were heard in our room 307. I am sure that is a common complaint from this room. The staff was courteous as a plus.

Ok but hardly a resort!

Positive: great access to beach, adjacent to Clayton’s so you can enjoy their afternoon bands from the patio at the Rose, amazingly low prices at happy hour, daily mopping of all hard surface floors, including the room, friendly staff. Negative: the hotel is very tired (my wife called it “exhausted.)” living area in the room is decent but the tub/shower area needs updating as do the common areas in the hotel. Finally, although other ratings seemed to think breakfast was good, we found it to be sub par and it certainly was not cook to order as referenced by one rating.
