Has a pool and beach area on the river. There is a pier you can walk out on. We had a kitchenette in our room. The air conditioning unit was very noisy.

Great place for a getaway while working

The employees there are so friendly and understanding. They’re very communicative and always try to help out the best way that they can. The views are gorgeous and the rooms are super nice. I go here once or twice a month on business and absolutely love my stay every time.

Perfect hotel for Southport

This was the perfect hotel for a weekend in Southport and Bald Head Island. It is close to the ferry and the downtown with a great view of the water if you get one of those rooms. The pool is small and nice and there is a small beach area attached to the hotels property. The room we had included a sparse kitchen with a fridge, hot plate, coffee maker, sink and dishwasher. The room was also surprisingly large. The bathroom was big and there was even a table with two chairs in the corner. Parking gets tight with usually every spot filled. We would stay here again with our two kids in a heartbeat.

Although I didn’t take advantage of them all, I liked the private pool, beach, and pier beside the river. It allowed a different kind of peace than that on an oceanfront. Also, the staff called me at home and sent me the sunglasses I left in the room.

Love that it's walkable distance to town, nice pool and beach view. AC was not strong enough and I had to use a fan to help the cool air circulate

Property was very clean and well equipped. The pool and river front beach were very nice, especially in the evening. There is also a pier you can go out on within the property. Would definitely stay here again.
