Spirit Lake is best explored by car, as public transportation is limited in the area. There’s plenty of free street parking available right in front of the home. Guests can rent a car locally for day trips around the lakes or to nearby towns like Okoboji and Arnolds Park. Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are limited but occasionally available — we recommend scheduling in advance if possible. Biking is also a great way to explore the nearby parks and lakes during warmer months.
