Cons: The room was not clean. There was hair all over the bathroom, stains on the bedding and the mini fridge was dirty. Pros: Staff was kind and fun to chat with. The free meal voucher at Rosie’s was nice; good breakfast. Close to Riverfront Park and shopping.

We were charged $75 holding fee and then we were told we couldn’t stay because we had cats. It was an uncomfortable and bad experience. I don’t know about the property. Emma was very nice. It would’ve been nice if she had not collected money from me and then said that we couldn’t stay.. I will never book another appointment at the steam plant Grill. Thank you.

It was adequate. Room pics looked better than the real thing. Parking lot is hard to manuever. Did not post the pet fee, amd actually read a review that said they liked that that there was no additional charge for pets, so was disappointed to be charged for that upon arrival.

This is not a Hotel—it’s a Motel. As the homeless situation in Spokane is pretty bad—this Motel is not in a safe area. Felt VERY misled about this venue on the Expedia website

I'm not sure what to say about this one actually. The hospitality experience is changing almost by the week and cost cutting springs to mind constantly. Sometimes, front desks aren't even staffed on arrival which wasn't the case here. wife and I were surprised to see only the thinnest of bedding and no comforter. When we mentioned it, the hotel said that it was all part of transitioning to the need for cooler bedding in summer. However, they did produce a comforter and so that was ok. Elsewhere the room had a broken lamp with the shade and lamp broken from its stand and the lamp hanging by its cord. I reported this. Breakfast was weird as we misunderstood that a "free" cooked breakfast at an off-site restaurant was only for one of us. Spokane is a great city and the hotel was conveniently located in a nice area of town and had good parking. It probably caters more to a younger and hipper clientele. My wife and I fell into neither category. Very nice hot shower but hotels are changing in terms of what they offer and provide and not always for the better I fear.
