Everything was good but they had a power outage for 5 hours in the morning and did not offer a refund or discount for the inconvenience of not having electricity. It was pitch black in the room and only emergency lights in the hallways.
The weather in January in Springville can be pretty nasty, and true to form a snowstorm came through the day we arrived. The hotel was perfectly located for me to stay the night while my husband was having surgery. My king suite was excellent and the bed was extremely comfy. The complimentary breakfast offered plenty of choices. My only minor issue was they should have plowed around the hotel more often than they did, especially during a snowstorm, so customers didn't have to walk through deep snow, especially in the back of the hotel where I had to park.
Glad this hotel was there to relieve the stress of having to drive home and back in nasty weather!
This is a well-managed and well-maintained hotel with a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff. The facilities are new, so while not a fancy place, it is a tip-top hotel.
The desk staff struggled with check-in, double charged my card, were unable to reverse the charge, were unable to print out a receipt, and could not provide a name or number for me to call to get this corrected.
I had a terrible customer service experience with the front desk person before I even arrived at the hotel. Upon asking for a manager, I was told there was no manager on the premises. This was mid afternoon on a weekday. I don’t want to stay at a place that doesn’t have a manager on site to support the staff. I will never stay at this property again in Springville, NY.
