Nestled in the heart of the Laurentians, an hour away from Montreal, 15 minute walk to the lake and close to all the ski resorts, a chalet easily sleeps 4 (possibility to sleep 6)!

Enjoy swimming, kayaking, skiing, hiking, shopping/food/night life & relax in nature at the chalet in front of the fireplaces (yes 2!) !and the hot tub.

Best of all we accept furry friends.

A rustic, clean and well kept space for guests to enjoy, surrounded by woods (property is 2 acres of woods). The property is the 2nd to last on a cul de sac which ensures privacy and a quiet. And has access to a private community lake with sandy beach.

Main Floor:

On the main floor, guests will have access to an inviting and spacious kitchen and open concept dining room & living room. The rooms are surrounded by windows and are bathed in natural light. There is a large dining table with seating for 8. There are cooking utensils and cooking spices for guests to prepare meals.

There is plenty of room for everyone to gather around the fireplace to relax, read a book or play board games.

There is also a bedroom with a queen bed, black out curtains, alarm clock, night tables.

The four-piece bathroom is on the main floor.

Mezzanine:

On the mezzanine level you will find the spacious master bedroom with a queen bed, two night stands, and a dresser. The room overlooks the living & dining room and gives out to a private back balcony for a quiet view of the forest.

Garden Level
On the garden level, there is a large living room with a double size futon/couch, a 42` TV and Xbox 360 and RockBand for the kids (or adults!) to enjoy or watch a movie.

Unlimited WiFi is included, and you can easily connect to your Netflix, CraveTV, PrimeTV or other account via the Amazon FireStick.

There is another small fireplace to keep everyone warm and toasty.

The cottage grants you access to the Pine Lake, which is only accessible to the immediate community. It has a sandy beach perfect for kids. You will have use of our 2 kayaks and paddleboards. There are no motorboats so it`s a quiet lake meant to swim and enjoy.

Guests will have access to the entire property.

Guests have the luxury of self check-in via a bluetooth lock.

However, we are on hand to assist when needed. I am also very responsive and available by phone/ text to answer any questions.

In the heart of the Laurentians you are a short drive to Ski Morin Heights or Ski Mont Avalanche., Mont Saint Sauveur Ski & Waterpark.

Forgot something... There`s an IGA/SAQ/Breadshop 7 minutes away. Or drive 6 minutes into St Adolphe to the Ultramar that also has an SAQ and great selection of Microbrew beers. There is also a BMR Hardware store in St Adolphe and many cute shops.

14 minutes away you are in the heart of St Sauveur, filled with local shops, restaurants and the Tanger Outlets.

Or if you are looking for some more serious slopes 40 minutes away there is Mont Blanc or 55 minutes to Mont Tremblant!

There is parking onsite for 4 cars.

No parties or hosting more people than your reservation without prior notice. If guests are found to have had a party or additional guests without permission, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbours, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY without refund.

No smoking inside the chalet. Failure to comply could result in additional cleaning fees to remove odour/stains

We allow you to bring your furry four legged friends, but ask that they not go on furniture or beds. You are responsible for any damage caused by your pets, including required additional cleaning or damage repairs.

Please treat our chalet, as you would treat your home. We’d like everyone to enjoy The Sweet Escape as it was meant to be enjoyed.

Respect your neighbours; no loud music after 10pm, keep pets on leashes , stay off others properties and be respectful when using the hot tub

Please read and respect the rules for the public beach. No glass bottles, smoking or dogs allowed on the beach. Dogs are permitted in the boat area before 9am or after 6pm and must be kept on a leash until they’ve reached the water.

The use of the Kayaks, paddle boards, snowshoes or any sport accessories at the cottage is at your own risk,, the owner is not liable for any injuries sustained while using the equipment.

Please feel free to use the fire places to stay nice and warm (we provide free wood, a perk most other chalets don’t offer but the wood may not be completely dry). Please see check-in document or house rules at chalet for full details on using the fireplaces.

You will be expected to respect all municipal warnings and bylaws regarding outdoor fires depending on the time of the year. Please check on the following site for rules regarding outdoor fires; http://sopfeu.qc.ca/en/

Please note the wood on the side of the house is not to be used for outside burning please. It’s for the inside fireplaces in the winter. There is a pile of wood at the back of the house between two trees (behind the patio table) that can be used if you want to make a fire outdoors. The wood may be damp it’s been freshly cut, it is free (a perk most cottages do not offer), if you feel it is too damp to start a fire you are welcome to buy dry firewood locally.

Please acknowledge that we leave some consumables such as condiments (in the fridge upstairs), spices, oils (above the stove) and coffee/tea/sugar (in the cupboard). We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests` discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. If something runs out please let us know so we can replenish it.

Feel free to use the fridge downstairs if you need extra storage, but we’d ask that you please not consume anything in that fridge or freezer. We’ve left it there for our use.

Please wash your dishes after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied.

PARKING: parking is provided in the driveway, do not park in the street after 10pm as you might be ticketed or towed. Be careful when entering & exiting driveway in winter due to slope and slippery conditions. Please try to clear the driveway when snow removers come to clean the driveway.

Please do not rearrange our furniture.

If you would like to host an event (i.e. wedding, graduation, not party), please speak with us about it first.

If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs, weapons or firearms of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

Le chalet est un chalet non-fumeur.

Nous permettons les chiens, mais on vous demande de respecter le chalet. Ramassez les besoins, et ne pas les laisser aller sur le balcon ou dans l`entrée du chalet. Ne pas laisser l`animaux sur les meubles ou lits. Vous êtes responsables des dommages fait par votre chien.

SVP respectez les voisins. Pas de party, pas de bruit, ne vous stationnez pas dans la rue. Si vous prenez des marches avec votre chien, le faire sur laisse.

SVP respectez les règlements de la plage. Vous n’avez pas le droit de; fumer, boire dans des bouteilles/verres en vitres, ni les chiens sur la plage. Les chiens sont permis dans la section des bateau avant 9h le matin ou après 18h le soir. Vous devez les garder sur la laisse en les guidant vers la section bateau qui es juste un peu plus loin que la plage.

L’utilisation des kayaks, paddleboards, raquette de neiges et tout autres articles es a la discretion du locataire et le propriétaire n’est pas responsables des blessures causées par l’utilisations.

Vous devez respectez les règlements municipaux et les avis pour les feux extérieurs. Pour plus de details et les règles SVP consultez; http://sopfeu.qc.ca/en/ Si vous êtes trouvez non conforme vous êtes responsables pour les amendes. SVP ne pas utiliser le bois sur le coter du chalet. Le bois pour le foyer extérieur est à l`arrière du chalet. Il est un peu trempe, nous sommes dsl, mais il est gratuit. Ne pas utiliser le bois sur le coter du chalet, cela est pour l`intérieur cette hiver. Prenez note que le bois peut être encore trempe, il est fraichement couper. Le bois est gratuit, si vous le trouvez trop trempe vous êtes bienvenue d’acheter du bois sec dans les magasins locaux.

Vous devez respectez les règlements de la plage, aucun abus serais tolérer. Pas de bouteille/vitre, soyez respectifs, nettoyer votre environment.

SVP comprendre que nous laissons des condiments à votre disposition dans le frigo (en haut) et la cuisine (épices, huiles, café, thé).

Chalet tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön porealtaan, grillejä ja pelihallin/-huoneen. Tämä chalet, joka on perheille sopiva majoituspaikka, tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön myös puutarhan ja pyykinpesutilat. Vastaanotto on avoinna ympäri vuorokauden.
