Cozy 1-Bedroom Casita w/ Pool and Yard

You'll be delighted to stay in our lovely home on your next trip to St. George! This beautiful 1-bedroom, 1-bath casita is the ideal launching point to discover incredible scenery and top-notch activities at places like Sand Hollow State Park, Tuacahn Amphitheatre, or Zion National Park. Spend your days exploring, then return home to unwind—soak in the spa, take in the view, prepare a delicious meal, or enjoy a game of pickleball or putt-putt.

Our charming casita is the only guest suite on the property, offering complete privacy with a separate entrance and exclusive access. We are a retired college professor and RN who relocated to this beautiful area to enjoy the sunshine and serenity—and we love sharing our home with guests. While we enjoy friendly conversation, we fully respect your space and privacy.

Relax in the many inviting amenities our backyard has to offer. Fire up the BBQ on the patio, take a refreshing dip in the spacious pool, soak in the spa under the stars, or gather around the fire pit for a cozy evening with s’mores. For a bit of fun, enjoy pickleball or practice your putting on the private green. The property backs up to the scenic St. George Golf Course—you can hit the links or simply enjoy the lush views right from your patio.

Please note that on occasion, our grandchildren may visit and enjoy a swim or dinner on our elevated back deck, which is one level above the casita patio.

Inside your private casita, you'll find:

Kitchen, Dining & Living Area:
Enjoy modern LPV flooring throughout and a fully equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, a rice cooker, Crock-Pot, and a Keurig Mini for your morning coffee. The cozy living room includes a pullout sofa bed with bedding provided and a TV for relaxing nights in.

Bedroom:
This beautifully decorated bedroom features plush new carpeting, a comfortable king bed, and a desk—perfect for remote work or planning your adventures. For larger groups (up to four guests), two twin floor mattresses or cots with bedding are available upon request.

Bathroom:
The full bathroom includes a tub/shower combo and is stocked with essentials such as towels, shampoo, body wash, and a blow dryer. A washer and dryer are conveniently located in the closet for your use.

Backyard - Pool/Pickleball/Putting Green:
Our backyard pool is typically comfortable for swimming from March/April through October/November. It features a plexiglass cover that remains open during the summer and closed in the winter months. Even in cooler seasons, the covered space often creates a warm, greenhouse-like environment where you can relax or spend time poolside.

The pool area is fully fenced with a locking gate, and we require 100% adult supervision anytime swimmers age 14 and under are inside the pool fence. We have a few life jackets available for non-swimmers. Pool access is available until 10:00 pm, and we ask that things remain quiet afterward out of respect for our residential neighborhood. Loud parties are not permitted at any time, and smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. For safety reasons, no alcoholic beverages or glass containers are allowed in the pool or yard areas.

Optional Pool Heating (Seasonal):
The pool cover will be in place from Labor Day through Memorial Day. During these cooler months, the pool is not heated by default due to limited use and the cost of heating. The spa, however, is heated year-round for your enjoyment. If you would like the pool heated during the off-season, we’re happy to arrange that for a flat fee of $75 per stay. It takes about two days to bring the pool up to temperature, so we ask for at least four days’ notice to guarantee heating—just send us a message before your stay and we’ll gladly coordinate it for you.

Just a few hundred yards away, you’ll have easy access to the extensive St. George trail system—ideal for walking, jogging, or biking. Nearby, you’ll also find parks, picnic areas, pickleball courts, playgrounds, and beautiful green spaces to explore, along with convenient access to restaurants, coffee shops, and a convenience store.
