Property is a grand old property. The heating was on and made the room too hot. There were no stays on the windows which meant they banged back & forth in the wind when they were open because the room was too hot. The curtains did nof close and therefore as soon as sunlight rose the room was too light to sleep. Bed was squeaky when sitting or alighting.

Hotel rooms are very dated. Bed was very uncomfortable, we had to ask for an extra topper, still not great after that. Room was tiny and very dark, with a poor ceiling light. Front facing room, meant we were awoken every morning by deliveries. Also situated on a busy road with constant road noise all day and night. We heard from locals that the hotel has been sold for development and it’s very obvious it’s being left and not attended too because of that.

Family trip

Hotel staff friendly. Communal area very clean. Breakfast was good. Room needed updating ie shower screen leaked, grout needed redoing. Tiles drilled & filled from previous fittings. Wardrobe doors should have been sliding as couldn’t open with the bed in the way.

On entering the Savoy we noticed how lovely and clean it was straight away. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Maid service every day. Coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms with biscuits left every day. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to beautiful Jersey.

Our first trip to Jersey made us realise we’ve missed out on a British Treasure for far too long. A cosmopolitan city is the ideal way of describing St Hellier in which we felt very safe and comfortable whilst walking around this litter-free town. The Savoy is a 10 minute walk to the centre though a well kept park and into streets with few empty shops but a myriad of good restaurants and stores.

The reception staff were exceptional. Teta and Lauraine stood out as they both went beyond and about to ensure we had the best from our stay. They are a true credit to the hotel. Bogdan was a super chap and was our waiter in the evening. Again a truly valuable member of the hotel staff. The only negative thing was the attitude of the maitre d' at night. Otherwise could not be faulted. A fabulous place to stay. Thank you.

80th VE day Stay

Fabulous looking hotel, with a short walk to the towns centre. Staff are very friendly and approachable, the bar was quiet but very spacious. Breakfast was a standard breakfast just how i like it. Room was clean and spacious.

The hotel is ostensibly very nice, however there is little to no sound proofing. I stayed 3 nights and got little sleep on any of them, between surrounding rooms TV noise and an epic snorer it was not a relaxing stay. Room cleaning was sloppy, 'curly hair' on the bath on arrival was still there on departure, my 'toilet tissue ear plugs' (see above) were still in the bed where they fell out after the room was cleaned. The bar and restaurant are excellent but deliberately expensive - a pint if lime and soda is nearly £7 because they choose to use bottles and not a dispenser! All in all, way too expensive for what you actually get - the hotel seems high class, but it's veneer, lipstick on a pig? There are better quality stays in Jersey at a similar price point with better services and more reasonable ancillary pricing.

Good clean base from which to explore Jersey

The Savoy is great value for the price, it’s a clean and pleasant hotel which acts as a good base from which to explore the delights of Jersey. Its central, with both the town centre and the bus station within an easy 10 min walk.

Stay was ok. Unfortunately we had a cockroach in our room -twice Service at breakfast was slow and a bit haphazard Never enough eggs, often fruit an yogurt ran out and we had to wait No spare cutlery, I used the same knife to eat my cooked breakfast and then put marmalade on my toast! Table was not cleaned and we were having to push aside dirty plates Staff were very pleasant but the service was not good I would not return to the hotel or recommend it to anybody

Clean. Decent gym for a hotel. Room big enough Friendly helpful staff. Curtains to actually block light hiding behind the decorative curtains. Bath with shower rather than walk in shower, less agile people may need to book the disabled rooms.

This was a poor to okay stay for a local BNB but very poor for a hotel with the Savoy name. The first room we were given was directly above the event hall, leading to loud booming sounds and very loud music. Only after complaining did we get another room. This shouldn’t even happen in my opinion, that room should be just kept as a storeroom. The next room given was much quieter but not easily accessible at all, it was a maze and not at all accessibility friendly or luggage friendly. The rooms were very old and outdated, old wooden furniture and carpets that hadn’t been cleaned and dust hung in the air. Also, the corridors smelt of cigarette smoke, not pleasant at all. Think 80s bnb. The breakfast was okay, nothing special and again not worthy of the Savoy name. The pool is outdoors and not heated, which is unusable pretty much all year round in Jersey. Overall this needs a HUGE renovation and uplift.
