Room was okay but the motel definitely could use some improvements. Parking was very limited. Carpet in hall and elevator were not that clean . Apparently it was in a questionable part of town because the entrance doors were locked at 10:00 pm. We could not be there until almost 11:00 pm. It was cold and windy and we did wait in the small area between the outside door and locked inside door.

Very welcoming staff! Efficient check in. Our rooms were exactly what we had booked. The rooms were a little on the small size but had everything we needed, were very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bed linens were superb! Staff checked back with us to make sure everything was great and see if we needed anything. It’s an older hotel but had some updates. The ONLY issue we had with both rooms was pulling our phones into electrical sockets. Both rooms had sockets that wouldn’t securely hold a plug due to age & use. Now, back to what was wonderful - the breakfast was fantastic! The area was clean, well maintained and had a wide variety of delicious food. The dark roast coffee was good (usually too weak in most hotels) and nice and hot as coffee should be! The breakfast staff kept up with cleaning and refilling which was a task as the breakfast area was filled to capacity one of the mornings. Parking was easy with plenty of spaces. We had a wonderful stay and would certainly book this hotel again!

Almost all aspects of the hotel and our stay were good. Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice pool and hot tub. The big issue we had was with our room smelling extremely smoky. It was a non-smoking room but cigarette smoke from somewhere else somehow came into our room (330) through the AC so we had to turn it off, which helped a bit. Our clothes even smelled smoky after the hotel stay. Crazy.

Service was excellent and facility was very clean. However, the room needed better upkeep. Multiple things in the room were broken - toilet paper holder, a shelf in the bathroom, and toilet handle. The handle in the shower was starting to break. AC/heater unit had exposed wiring.
