It is what it is

Staff was very pleasant, explained how to get to my room. The room itself could use the fridge cleaned more, it honestly stunk, the room smelled musty, the ice bucket had a new bag in a half inch of water growing mold. The bathroom had long black hairs on both the floor and the shower walls. It was cleanish, but obviously done in haste. The fan on LOW was blowing papers off the desk while I was trying to get some work done, I had to completely shut it off until the room got too warm, then take a break to cool the room off. Breakfast was underwhelming with the pancake maker being out of order, the eggs being a bit rubbery, and I hate sausage, but it was there, as well as fruit & boxes of cereal & milk. It is what it is. A 3 star, cheapish hotel with staff that are very friendly, pleasant, just seem to be overworked.

Just a couple of things, the elevator carpet was very dirty, and the elevator in general needs a GOOD cleaning. Our room smelled like smoke, bought some febreeze, and made it better but our clothes in our suitcase smells like smoke. Some fresh paint and some upkeep on the lawn and pool then it would be great. The staff was real nice.

This was my second time staying at this property and my experience this time was not a good one. The bathroom floor was filthy and obviously had not been cleaned. My refrigerator stopped working. The office promised to have it repaired the following day, but that did not happen. Also, my room was missing basic amenities like an ice bucket, which I needed since the refrigerator did not work. The staff was friendly, but the room was really not nice.
