Sandpiper Cottage - Fantastic Beach view at East Beach on Saint Simons Island, GA, located at the Coast Cottage Community! This cottage accommodates eight people comfortably, has three full baths and one half bath. Complete, well appointed kitchen with high efficiency washer and dryer, commercial nugget ice machine with 300 pound storage bin, elevator, large front porch on the second floor with views of the beach and room for outside dining. Two swimming pools with an expansive sunbathing area, private boardwalk provides easy access directly to the beach. Dedicated golf cart parking, if you do in fact rent your own cart. Two parking spaces in front of the cottage itself for your vehicles. Gas grill, dedicated outdoor shower, beach chairs and towels, umbrellas, tent and beach buggy.

Excellent Accommodations

We had a wonderful stay at the Sandpiper cottage! It was very clean and all beds were comfortable. The location is top notch with views of the water and being very close to the community beach pool as well as beach access. The boardwalk down to the beach was very nice when having a cart full of stuff for children. There was very little needing to pull the cart across the sand as the boardwalk got you right where you needed to be. The most impressive part of the cottage was how well stocked it was with essentials needed for the week. We have stayed at many rentals before and this one by far had the most available to a renter. This included plenty of essentials such as paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher soap and laundry detergent. But it also included extras such as coffee for the Keurig, Ziploc bags, aluminum foil/parchment paper, all kinds of spices/cooking/baking items and a fully stocked kitchen with appliances/dishes needed. Not only was this available, but all of the items in the kitchen were of high quality making cooking a breeze. There are also plenty of phone chargers throughout the entire house on nightstands and end tables. A lot of thought has been put into making guests feel at home when renting this cottage. I highly recommend staying here! Also, communication with the owner was fantastic.

Every aspect of the house has been given lots of thought about placement and needs of guests. We loved everything about it including location and proximity to the beach. Nice house in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at this house. Love the close proximity to both the pool and beach. Only 2 miles from the downtown St Simon’s shops and restaurants. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Owner is great with communication and very easy to work with!

Ocean retreat

We have stayed in this community multiple times and we love it. This house is a great value for a beautiful, comfortable location. Steps to the beach and pool, lovely views of the ocean. Host was very helpful with minor issues that came up. We will stay here again!

AMAZING house

We had a family reunion of 5 at St. Simons and could not be happier with the accommodations. 1) The house is super clean, filled with light, and luxurious. 2) The house was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, including basic seasonings! 3) Instant beach and pool access 4) Owner was very responsive to our questions 5) Beds were comfortable with nice pillows and sheets. 6) Great view from the porch 7) Quiet family friendly community from the houses around you. We will absolutely be back.

Wonderful Spring Break trip

This was the perfect place for 2 families during a week long spring break trip. We had 4 teenage girls and 2 sets of parents. The accommodations were above and beyond. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels for all. The kitchen was very well stocked with all of the essentials and then some. We had a problem with the elevator upon arrival and needed it as we had a teenager with a torn ACL. The host was so sweet and very quick to send help and the elevator was up and going. We would definitely stay here again. Very clean and very nice.
