Underwhelming

Driving to the entrance of the hotel was very unpleasant. You have a gas station on the right and a truck parking lot on the left. Once you pass all of that it is not bad. If I were the hotel I would construct a large fence on both sides because you feel like you are in the ghetto. The view from the window was the same, a truck parking lot. The carpet in the elevator is stained and frayed and needs to be replaced. I was not happy that there was no safe in the room. The breakfast area looked sterile, like a public school cafeteria. Most similarly priced hotels have much nicer bars and breakfast areas. I have also never paid for parking at a hotel in Sterling. That should be mentioned up front.

Fine but….

We were impressed with most of our stay. The bed was comfy, as was the shower and the plush towels. However, the windows did not block a lot of street noise and the breakfast was plentiful but bland and boring.
