Escape to a gorgeous 3-bedroom upstairs apartment in Storm Lake. Entire upstairs closed off and separate from downstairs. Experience old world charm in this 150 year old home with a modern touch. Each spacious bedroom features a clean cozy queen bed, perfect for a good night's sleep and includes a smart tv, ceiling fan, and air conditioning/heat in each room with extra pillows, blankets, and linens. Master bedroom has a walk in closet and attached full bath along with a desk for work and high speed wifi throughout. We have extra twin air mattresses upon request. Two bathrooms equipped with bath and shower and all the essentials, guests can freshen up before exploring the city or visiting family. The living room offers an additional living space with a comfy sofa and recliner for relaxation and plenty of cards and board games and a smart tv. Full kitchen with full refrigerator, stove, coffee pot, and oven and all the extras to be able to cook for yourselves. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Large corner lot yard for kids to play, and includes a fire pit with 6 chairs, gas or charcoal grill, and projector screen for all to enjoy. Our 8 year old black lab Tucker lives downstairs and loves kids and new visitors, and anyone that will throw a ball for him. Enjoy all that beautiful Storm Lake has to offer when you stay at our place. Half a block walking distance to the lake and docks. Walking trails, two parks, 4 churches, downtown shopping, BVU, and short 5 minute drive to Kings Pointe water park and SL golf course. Private access upstairs fully furnished 3BR 2bath apartment with full kitchen, and all the amenities you need in your home away from home. All main surfaces, linens, and bathrooms are sanitized and cleaned between visitors. We love meeting new people and can’t wait to have you!

storm lake vrbo

it was a classic big old well built house with a great location. It did pretty well with record heat and humidity. Host supplied fans and turned on AC before we got there.

Lovely older home, some advice below

Check in was very easy and communication with host was good. We stayed for a celebration of life for ironically enough for a member of the family that grew up in this home. So we had spent time at the home. Host allowed us to check out the attic area when we requested this. Being an old home there were some issues. The oldest bathroom shower water went to nothing and then freezing cold. I can understand this happening but a warning is recommended. Instructions for the TV were not provided. Living room TV color needed to be manually fixed. Had to search for soap. Liquid soap was almost empty with water added to it. More attention to detail would be beneficial. Thank you.
