There are some beautiful walks to enjoy from the village and you’ll also be within easy reach of the stunning Suffolk coastline (22 miles), with its sandy beaches, bustling seaside towns, and dramatic clifftop paths. After a day of exploring, return to your cosy lodge to snuggle by the wood burner or sip a sundowner in the leafy courtyard garden.

The single-storey lodge has a homely feel, with comfortable furniture and a cosy wood burner. Enter the property into the open-plan living space, where you can rustle up delicious dinners for two in the cute kitchen area to enjoy at the table by the window, or unwind on the plump sofa to catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. When day turns to night, retire to the bright and airy king-size bedroom. A stylish shower room completes the accommodation. On a summer’s evening, spend time in the peaceful garden sharing a bottle of wine at the bistro table or cooking your supper on the BBQ. The outdoor area is fully enclosed, making it a great space for four-pawed guests.

Debenham is a charming village with a good range of independent shops and cute places to eat. The village is a great starting point for picturesque walks through the Suffolk countryside, including along the River Deben, which rises in the village. Further afield, you’ll find plenty to see and do in the ancient market town of Framlingham (8 miles), which boasts a 12th-century castle and many cafes, pubs, and restaurants. For a day at the seaside, head to the popular resort of Aldeburgh (22 miles), with its attractive shingle beach, long promenade, and plethora of boutiques, galleries, and gift shops.
