Was great staying at the Hotel, we booked through Wotif and they failed to send the confirmation through to the Hotel, the manager was great , he called after we left to say that someone had cancelled so we got a room after all. Can't get better service than that

Overnight Saturday stay. Pub hotel accommodation is what it is. Bed linen fresh and clean. Rooms not air conditioned (missed that on the info). Bathroom facilities good. Staff very friendly and Saturday pub meal was adequate. If staying Saturday night be aware live band until 11:30pm. All in all a good stay and lovely location (Stroud) to wake up in.

Typical country pub with small rooms - however the room was hot (being in the western side of the building) , and the facilities were a fair way away . The hotel was overpriced, being almost $100 per night, above the usual price for country pub rooms
