Hotel was recently upgraded. Only issue was we wanted a king bed and was given a queen. We are only in the room to sleep so it was not that big of a deal.

All was great for my 3 night stay. All staff were friendly and answered any questions I had. At the reception desk there were 2 specific people I would like to mention for their overall great customer service. They are Kevin and Sam. The breakfasts were very good and appreciated.

The good: Constant fan feature which is always important to me. The front desk worker was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean. The bad: it’s dated. They were not prepared for breakfast (ran out of plates and food) there needs to be another layer of bedding. All and all not terrible. The breakfast situation kinda ruined it on our way out.

So, the hotel is fine. The only reason I don’t give it four stars is that I had to go to the desk for a new key 3 times. They kept acting like I shouldn’t put it in the same pocket as my neodymium magnet collection, but I assured them that each time, I switched it to a pocket with different fellows, assuming the last pocket and its contents had done the deed. The first pocket was shared with my wallet which contains credit cards with magnetic strips that seem to fare just fine. The other two containing my keys, and phone respectively. Get new key tech for the love of all that is holy!! Also, the pool was fairly dirty and the hot tub was like 6” shallower than it should have been. An automatic front door would be nice as well when hauling luggage. All that said, there was a shower and a bed in the room, and that is all I really need. . . As long as I can get into said room.
