Tämä kahden makuuhuoneen plus parvi / 2-kylpy, kolmen tason huoneisto tarjoaa 1 700 neliömetriä nukkuen 6 vieraalle. Makuuhuoneet ovat maanpinnan tasolla, muutaman askeleen alas etuovesta. Makuuhuoneessa on king-vuode, 20-tuumainen taulutelevisio, iso kahden hengen vaatekaappi. Ensuite-kylpyhuoneessa on kaakeloitu turhamaisuus uudella pesuallasella ja haulla ja kylpyamme / suihku-yhdistelmä lasiovilla. On kannella sisäänrakennetulla penkit pois makuuhuoneeseen. Vieras makuuhuone tällä tasolla on kaksi erillistä vuodetta, iso vaatekaappi ja 20-tuumainen televisio. Täysikokoinen pesukone / kuivausrumpu on salin vieressä Hall kylpyhuone laatoitettu turhamaisuus ja suihku. Tässä yksikössä ei ole ilmastointilaitetta.
Keskimmäisellä tasolla on olohuone, ruokailutila ja keittiö. Keittiössä on karkeasti leikatut graniittiset työtasot, uusi pesuallas ja kalusteet, kaksinkertainen jääkaappi ja lasinen keittolevy ja uuni. Ruokailuhuoneessa on himmennettävä valaistus ruokapöydän ääressä, jossa on istuimet 6-8, ja keittiön laskurissa on 2 baarituolit. Olohuoneessa on 37-tuumainen taulutelevisio, ja sohva ja rakkaus istuin surround paasi kaasu syttynyt puun polttaminen takka. Kansi pois olohuoneessa on pöytä ja tuolit ja kaasu grilli. Parvi olohuoneen yläpuolelta pääsee portaita pitkin ja sisältää kaksi erillistä vuodetta. Yksiköllä on pääsy autotalliin kompleksissa yhdelle autolle ja yhdelle ylimääräiselle pysäköintipaikalle ulkona.
Complex Ominaisuudet: Sunburst Condominiums sijaitsevat lähellä Elkhorn Plaza. Golf, tennis, uinti ja viihde Elkhorn Resort ovat kävelyetäisyydellä. Mountain Rides tarjoaa ilmaisen kuljetuspalvelun Ketchum, Sun Valley ja Warm Springs. Vieraat Sunburst pääsevät allas, sauna ja kylpytynnyri Harker Center ja Elkhorn Village. Sunbursteilla on myös oma kesäallas ja ympäri vuoden sijaitseva poreallas.

The property is pretty beaten up which is not described in the listing. The walls are scratched extensively, the master shower was broken, and the fire place door was broken. The unit smells like smoke. We also found an old Budweiser can under a bed that the cleaners didn’t get. Generally a mediocre unit.

Electricity turned off

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We travelled with our 3 small children and the proximity to the pool/hot tub was perfect! The home was also very clean and well stocked with extra towels and blankets. I would recommend they add some kid friendly dinnerware and drink ware, but we made do with what was there. My only complaint was that while we were there, the electricity got turned off on unit. We had just returned from taking a hike and were getting cleaned up when all of a sudden the power went out. We thought maybe there was an issue with the breaker, but came to find out that Idaho Power had shut off the electricity. Thankfully we were able to talk to a representative from Idaho Power about our situation, given that we had no control over the outstanding electricity bill being paid and were just renting the place for a few days. The gentleman we talked to was very empathetic and called the host management company, said he would turn the power back on for a little bit, but also couldn't guarantee he wouldn't have to come back the next day and shut it off again. Thankfully we never had another issue but we were very surprised that no one from the management company (Alpine Lodging) contacted us or communicated anything. When we checked out two days later, I mentioned the situation to the host again and they were very dismissive of the whole thing. Honestly it was just very odd and left us with a bad taste in our mouth for that location and it's host management company.

Great spot

The place is very comfortable and conveniently located. It’s close to skiing and town. The checkin window is pretty tight and the checkin location is separate from the property but it isn’t bad and checkin was fine with some planning ahead. The property manager is very responsive and helpful. The hot tub at the place was cold but we had access to the elkhorn pool which had a great hot tub. The kitchen isn’t stocked very well. Pans aren’t very good so glad we brought our own. And make sure to bring your own coffee filters. But the set up of the place is great for a group with a big open main floor and large dining table. Beds are comfy and good water pressure in the showers. Would book here again.

Wonderful

We loved it! We had a great and comfortable stay. One thing to be aware of- the railings to the side of the stairs and in the loft have slats wide enough for a small child to fit through. I was traveling with my children ages 2 and 4 and we had to block off those areas. Had they wanted to, they could have easily fallen from the loft out from the dining room area to the tiled entryway.

Disappointing stay from the beginning to end

To start, the location of this condo is amazing, I’ll give it that. We had such a poor experience. The king size bed was so incredibly loud, I wish I could explain just how horrible it was. We have 3 small children and no one slept the first night. With a kid or two trying to get in bed with us and then they can’t sleep because of the noise. It was miserable. I called alpine lodging and spoke to Barb…she laughed at me and was so mean and rude. To have that interaction on top of not sleeping at all the night before was so awful. A maintenance person came, and as Barb said “well you don’t need to be there”, so they came while we were gone and removed the box springs. Their note says, it’s a little better. So we slept on the most uncomfortable mattress on a giant piece of plywood for 8 nights. Miserable. And the cruelness from the office made it feel worse, no kindness at all. We will never book another place with alpine lodging. Oh and they did refund us for “a night stay” but it was less than the nightly rate…if it was handled differently I would have felt a little better. I’ve never been laughed at like that while holding back tears. It was so unfortunate.

Nice condo!

Really liked the space, fit us all well with the loft and roomy kitchen/living/dining area! The hot tub was very close and roomy, which is a great perk on a ski trip. Everything was clean and convenient. Even an easy bus stop right by the condo to get to town. Only thing to mention is the check-in process requires you to go to the office, which makes it more difficult with a late check-in. They do have a lock box for keys which is easy, but we had to go back to the office again for the hot tub access. Not really a problem just worth noting so you can plan for it! Overall great stay!

Clean, comfortable, and accomodating

This is a really nice property that comfortably accommodates 5 to 6 people. The property is well taken care of and has all of the required amenities. It was an approx 10 minute drive to River Run and the Sun Valley slopes. It snowed approximately 6 inches the day we left and the walkways and driveways were already clear by 8 am. I'd stay here again.

Great Condo for a Ski Vacation!

This was our second year in a row staying in the same condo for a family ski vacation! It has the perfect amount of space and beds for a family of 6. It's nice to have access to a hot tub after a long ski day! A couple suggestions for improvement: The condo really needs a new frying pan! The teflon coating on one is completely coming off and is unusable. There is only one small stainless steel frying pan. The kitchen is stocked with very bare minimum items for cooking. The King size mattress is also in need of an upgrade. The internet had issues working well. Thankfully we skied during the day and then had games to play in the evenings.

Elkhorn stay.

This is a great condo in Elkhorm village. It was very clean upon arrival which is always great. There is no AC in these condos so just know that going in. The beds were pretty comfortable, and if you opened the windows up at night and stuck a fan up to the screen door, you could get some airflow. My one complaint for the owners would be the lighting. They are all florescent, or halogen, or incandescent bulbs and the amount of heat coming off the lights was insane when it was already hot. We sat in the dark in the afternoons because of this. LED’s would not have this problem. A note to anyone staying at this property summer/fall of 2022. They decks are being replaced all over the condo units. This unit you have to walk down a short path from the parking lot to the condo’s front door. There are lights on the path but none of them work so it is a pitch black walk from the car to the condo. We used our cell phones to light the path. But something to think about. I think this is a condo problem and not an Alpine lodging problem, but still just a note. There isn’t much in the condo to cook with and no pantry items. So prepare to bring your own. We didn’t make any food in the condo so wasn’t a big deal for us. Overall, it’s a great location and a quiet neighborhood.

Read the Full Description

Next time I will be sure to read more carefully the “full description” of the property. I overlooked the note that stated the decks and balconies were being rebuilt. There was a construction zone going on right outside our unit so no outdoor balconies for barbecuing or sitting or eating outdoors. For me, being a light sleeper, the bed in the master bedroom was terrible because it produced creaking sounds (from the rickety box springs) with every little movement, resulting in a very disruptive nights sleep. Luckily the other bedroom had twin beds which I slept in the rest of the stay.

Sunburst Condo - Elkhorn, Idaho

We really enjoyed our stay. Our six year old son referred to it all weekend as the “cozy condo”. It was very clean and well stocked with linens, kitchen items, etc. Our only other comment would be that we were not made aware of the fact that the outdoor decks are in the process of being redone. We were not only not able to enjoy evenings outside but were woken up to construction at 8-830am both Friday and Saturday. That would have been nice to know in advance of our stay.

Great stay!

We really liked the property. It was large enough for the 6 of us and well equipped. Short drive to Bald Mtn for skiing and downtown dinner and shopping. Loved the hot tub close by.

Great condo for a family ski vacation

We really enjoyed staying in this condo for a family ski vacation. The beds were decent and there was plenty of space. We enjoyed the large kitchen table for meals and game playing. It was nice to have access to the Elkhorn Village hot tub after a day of skiing!

Tired furniture and missing conveniences

While the bedrooms and baths were updated and comfortable, the living area was tired looking and the kitchen lacked most every convenience. It is obvious that this is a rental only and the owners do not use the property. The kitchen was void of every staple except a small picnic sized salt and pepper ( half used). The 2 sauté pans had peeling and scratched Teflon surfaces and the largest pot for boiling pasta held 2 quarts. The management company left one sponge which was cut in half and no laundry soap. I think for 500- 600 a night a few laundry tablets and a few basic staples can be left so that the renter doesnt have to truck in every little thing to cook a meal or run a load of laundry! I wouldnt rent this property again.
