About this property
Stunning Duplex with Rooftop Terrace
Summary:
This stunning three-bedroom property doesn’t just capture beautiful views, it capitalises on them, with a stunning rooftop terrace and a design oriented towards a luxuriant mesh of the outdoors and in. Nestled away from the bustle of Noosa’s main tourist hotspots, but still within an easy walk, the duplex makes its home in peaceful Little Cove.
The Space:
Stretching out across multiple levels, it’s an ideal home away from home for families and friends to set up a holiday base. And with only a single neighbour attached, you’re guaranteed privacy in this little slice of paradise.
With a lift included for accessibility, the property centres its bedrooms – including the master suite with spa – on the entry level. Each one enjoys direct access to an expansive undercover balcony/terrace, furnished to encourage dining and entertaining and stretching alongside a private inground pool that is long enough for laps and features sunloungers on its tiled surrounds.
Another balcony off the first floor offers further spots for alfresco catch-ups and conversation, looking out to the property’s lush surrounds. Upstairs, the duplex’s lifestyle amenities flow across an open-plan space that incorporates a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, a dining hub and a spacious lounge zone. With an artful use of glass, wallpaper and art alongside a neutral palette set off by rich timbers, bright colours and lively patterns, it’s an area as beautiful in décor as it is welcoming in ambience.
Yet the ultimate visual delights lie up a set of stairs, which ascend to the duplex’s jewel in the crown – a spacious furnished rooftop deck with sensational panoramic views. From breakfast through to dinner and beyond, the open-air zone offers an ever-changing spectacle of sunlight and scenery, moonlight and mountain. Cast your eye over sweeping views of the Noosa River, gaze towards Mt Cooroy in the distance, look for glints of sunlight over the ocean or start your morning with an early coffee as the day creeps up the horizon. It’s also inspiration to take a wander down to what you’ve been looking out – and explore what the area has to offer.
Whether you’re seeking relaxation or entertainment, everything you could want is close by, from the delights of Little Cove Beach and Noosa National Park to the golden sands of Main Beach and the retail and restaurants of iconic Hastings St.
Swim and surf, browse and buy, walk and wander. There’s plenty to see, yet nowhere you need to be in a hurry. The only deadline you could possibly set yourself may be the sunset, which draws you home to that magnificent rooftop deck to watch the glorious profusion of pinks and yellows accompany daylight below the horizon. It’s a spot made not just to capture the views but capitalise on them as well. Make sure you embrace your prime position.
Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire home and pool throughout their stay
The Neighborhood:
Noosa is recognised as a UNESCO biosphere reserve, this chic coastal town is surrounded by bay, beach, National Park and river. Visitors to Noosa love to swim at Noosa Main Beach, surf the Noosa World Surfing Reserve, walk the Noosa National Park’s stunning forest and coastal trails or picnic as the sun sets over the hinterland behind the river mouth. Home to iconic Hastings Street, which is famous for its shopping and dining, Noosa’s main beach is lined with restaurants, cafes, bars and an eclectic array of boutiques, homeware stores, galleries, and surf stores.
Noosa Junction or as it is affectionately known by locals, ‘The Junga’ is a buzzing little village just over the hill from Hastings Street, ‘The Junga’ is home to a wonderful world of bars, restaurants, live music, coffee shops, fashion boutiques, laneways, night markets, street art and photo galleries.
With the Noosa River winding through its heart and river hire businesses dotted along its 2km of grassy foreshore, Noosaville is a lively centre of aquatic activities including swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and jet skiing. Restaurants, cafes and bars on both Gympie Terrace and Thomas Street, many with stunning views of the Noosa River, serve up tastes from around the world as well as contemporary Australian fare that cater to all tastes and budgets. Shopping is also well catered for in Noosaville with an excellent range of boutiques retailing everything from shoes and beachwear to surfboards and clothes for any occasion.
Noosa ferry’s custom-built classic riverboats cruise between Hastings Street, Noosaville and Tewantin (Noosa Marina) with seven stops along the Noosa River with a one-way trip taking about 40 minutes.
Tewantin is a quiet, village-style suburb situated along the Noosa River from Noosaville which features a pedestrian-friendly main street renowned for its striking Poinciana trees showcasing vibrant orange-red flowers during the summer months. Originally established as a timber town and serving as the river port for the Noosa region, Tewantin is home to the vehicular ferry connecting to Noosa’s North Shore and Fraser Island, as well as the Noosa Marina, a hub for riverfront shops and restaurants, and host to weekly craft and produce markets.
Inland from Noosa and popular for day trips is the Hinterland where green valleys are dotted with cafes, galleries, vintage stores, markets and historic pubs. Known for their incredible natural beauty, the Noosa Hinterland is comprised of country towns including Eumundi, Cooroy, Pomona, Kin Kin, Cooran and is also home to the Noosa Everglades. One of only two everglades’ systems on Earth, the Noosa Everglades is a 60km stretch of pristine waters, magnificent flora and fauna and narrow waterways.
Heading south, locals and visitors alike love Peregian Beach for its laidback and chilled beachy vibe and its village square which is home to boutique stores, a host of restaurants, cafes and takeaways set under cool shady trees and its makers’ market held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday morning of each month.
