Very convenient area. 7 eleven and Family mart nearby for some late night snacks. Massage parlor across the street with great prices. Walkable area to Ximending. Perfect location for pick up and drop off for Ubers. I also want to say a huge thank you specifically the employee that checked us in at 2am in the morning. After our flight got delayed by 4 hours and arrival to Taipei got pushed back (supposed to arrive 9pm but we arrived at 2am instead). Thank you for waiting, initiating our check in and showing us around with such patience and care. We will be back!

I have been staying at Wonstar for almost every of my 7 trips to taipei in the past 8 years. It's accessible location and helpful staff always make my stay a pleasant one. Just one feedback though - it would be helpful to replace the armchair in the room with a stand/table for luggage as it is a better use of space. With the armchair around, it's difficult to have 2 luggages in a double and/or twin sharing room.

Great hotel with good service

This is one of my favorite hotel to stay in Ximending area whenever I'm in Taipei. Right beside XMD, it's a convenient location to be. Service is excellent as always. I gave a 4-star as there were some inconveniences experienced by my mom but they were resolved by staff swiftly. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel as first choice.

Location was good and close to many shopping areas, massage and eating places. However the aircon is centralized and not able to adjust. It was really very cold in the room so it will be good if we can adjust in the room instead. Housekeeping need to be improved as we found stains immediately on the bedsheet when we just checked in.

The location of thr hotel is really good as it is near many eating places, 2mins walk to a NETs and walkable to mtetro station. however cleanliness needed to be improve and the facilties are old. The bathtub was spoilted and when we feedback to the hotel, they mentioned that they will fixed the next day but it was still not fixed.

Taipei vacation

We had a nice time in Taipei. Hotel location is great. a block away from Ximending. The bus stop is conveniently across the hotel. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

- Cleaner for daily room cleaning did not clean toilet bowl to flip up the toilet seat cover. - Carpet looks dirty and old (stay at 2nd floor) - Aircon temperature cannot be adjusted and always on 19.9 Deg which was very cold during Jan 2025. - No heater in room and at night was super cold, cannot sleep well. - Only location is convenient which is good

A nice and functional hotel at a convenient location. A short walk to two subway (MRT) stations and a major shopping area. Staff is nice and polite. The building itself is relatively old, but the room is clean and comfortable. No breakfast served, but there is a Mos Buger next door, where you can buy a breakfast for NT70. Recommended if you can find a good price.
