Easy inexpensive transport from airport on one bus with very short walk (bus 1819). We booked a large double room and the space is good. Reliable hot water, frig and electric kettle in room - great! Based on this hotel in densely populated Shuanglian area, you can quite easily go shopping around all major sites including "Big 3" department stores -- Sinkong Mitsukoshi, Taipei 101 and Eastern SOGO -- as well as towering malls like Breeze, Eslite or Qsquare. Recommended for all zealous shoppers but also for Taipei explorers.
