Thank you for staying with us.We appreciate helpful comments with specifics of what a guest thinks could make their experience better at our hotel. Unfortunately, the specifics were missing here and therefore lacked context.We have also stayed at hotels in Costa Rica which were darned nice....at several times the price. That is context.

Doing so will shed light on the 'who' and 'why' of this man's laughable number rankings for our hotel features. The story: This guest made reservations for 2 adults but arrived as a solo traveler. That's OK, it happens. But, when Mr. Leibundgut brought young local prostitutes back to the hotel, he became VERY unhappy when we told him they could not enter, even with a reservation for 2 - we have our rules. So, this is a retaliatory review in the internet age. It happens in this business and all we can do to protect ourselves is to explain and move on. The talk about price is silly. Roland reserved our least expensive room for the most expensive time of the year, which is New Years. If he didn't like the prices then he should not have rented the room, and he should have reviewed our house rules regarding "paid" guests not being allowed, before making his reservations.
