Casa Los Monosin suunnittelun yksinkertaisuus sisÀltÀÀ korkeat katot, taiteellisen valaistuksen, luonnolliset tekstuurit ja runsaasti auringonvaloa ylimitoitettujen lasiovien ja -ikkunoiden kautta. Kokki valmis keittiö, mukautettu puinen ruokapöytÀ ja oleskelutila lounge ovat kaikki osa yhteistÀ tilaa, joka avautuu kodin patio.

The host minimized our concerns and complaints. The pool was poorly maintained. Leave and debris were continuously in the poor. This was not stated in the description of the house. There was an ant infestation which rendered one of the rooms unusable. Stay Tamarindo the property manager suggested that we spray the doorway and place wet towels on the floor. Unfortunately this did not rectify the swarm of ants on the walls, ceiling and bathroom. A staff member came and sprayed the room which rendered it unusable not to mention dead ants everywhere. We asked to have the occupant of that room stay in a hotel for the night. The property manager Colin suggested that his staff member stay in the room all night with the window open to air the room out and stay on guard for no further bug entry into the room. What a beautiful home! We loved everything about our stay in the home. Highlights: private pool, backyard wildlife, secure neighborhood, concierge (Collin was fantastic!), housekeeping service, and tours (booked through Collin). House was well equipped with everything we needed. The only thing that we didn’t love was the lukewarm showers. We would definitely book this house again!!

Beautiful house, perfect for a big party of 7

The house was in a beautiful neighborhood and nestled near the edge of the community which offered much privacy and opportunities to see and hear the howler monkeys. The kitchen was well equipped, the pool was lovely after a day at the beach and all the fun shower option’s to try between the four bedrooms was great!

Paradise

Our vacation here was amazing. Elsa the concierge helped us manage our excursions and book our transportation. It was a little far from Tamarindo where there is a lot going on, but between the Marriott and the Hacienda Pinilla beach club, there was plenty to do. Hope to return again!

Great Stay!

This was a wonderful experience! Elsa was super helpful throughout the entire process and the house was beautiful. If we come back to Costa Rica we will definitely be booking this home again as the location was great.

Hacienda Pinilla, Almendros stay

House was great. Property is on a private cul-de-sac. Hacienda Pinilla is a big community so I would recommend renting a golf cart to take advantage of all the community amenities. We did this directly through the property concierge. Concierge was amazing who arranged private chef, fishing charter, golf cart, etc. Easy Peasy!

Great property

Fantastic property in excellent location. Great pool with lots of shade. Confortable rooms, great main hall. Excellent availability of pots, pans and other necessary items. Tired towels. Musty garage, two leaky toilets, clothes washer lost balance in every rinse cycle noisily dancing its way around, dishwasher not working due to missing soap cap. Hard to get used to outdoor shower as a daily event, although gladly just one bedroom with such amenity. In all, very satisfied with experience.

Great location and amazing house!

We just loved staying here! If you are looking for a house that the family can spread out, enjoy the pool and be within minutes of the beach, this is the house for you! We enjoyed all of the amenities that the house and community had to offer. By far one of our favorite parts of the stay was the late afternoon monkey visits in our own backyard!! From booking to the concierge services provided by Elsa, this trip was by far a family favorite. We received amazing service and support from Elsa! She set us up with the best experiences and all of her restaurant recommendations were spot on!! We will definitely be back!!

The house is amazing, was very clean and very well equipped and well located. We saw one small opportunity to have more light close to the pool when gets night, but it didnÂŽt compromise the experience as the house is amazing. Unfortunately we had a bad experience when arriving at the condo, as the Vrbo concierge did not sent our information to the entrance security and we were not allowed to enter the property. Even thought I received all the information, access code etc, they also should receive those information from the property manager. It was 11pm after 6 hour driving, stressful moment for us. Lucky that the doorman was nice and proactive to get in touch with the person (after some time) to ask for the information so we could get in.

Very nice stay!

The home was exactly how the pictures show. It was very clean and beautiful. Mariam was helpful and we felt very safe. There is two sets of gates to get to the home. It is about a 20 minutes drive into town but close to beach club and golf course. Only suggestion would be to cut some of the overhanging plants near pool to let more sunlight in but this is a tiny detail. Awesome experience.

Loved every minute!

Casa de los monos was amazing! It looks just like the pics and was very clean. It was my birthday, and my friends and I had a ball for an entire week. The pool was my favorite place to be in the mornings and the way I ended each day. The monkeys didn’t come too close, but they were there howling some mornings. It was cool to see! Mariam and her team are the best and made our stay comfortable and easy. I plan to return next year!

Short but sweet

My friends stayed here for a 40th bday celebration. The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you could ever need. We were able to use the Marriot property without any issues, but recommend renting a golf cart to get around. Our house manager Mariam was fantastic and help set up the rentals for us and was really helpful in every way. We stayed for 4 nights and wish we would have stayed longer. Monkeys in the trees while drinking my morning coffee will always be a highlight for me.

Truly impressive home and neighborhood

My family and I come to Costa Rica frequently and always rent a home. I do believe this home is my favorite one so far. Beautifully decorated and well appointed we really never wanted to leave. The neighborhood of Hacienda Pinilla is also magical. Lots of wildlife and hiking walking or mountain bike trails. We saw lots of deer and more species of birds than we could name. I think we saw an ocelot too. The beaches here are amazing and empty. The management company stay in tamarindo is also one I would call "best in class" . Mariam is the homes manager and could not have been more helpful or available to answer any of our questions or to source a ride or a chef or direct us to the best restaurants in the area. We will be back and we will for sure come back to Casa de los Monos, (house of the monkeys) by the way. The house lives up to the name as we had monkeys in the trees every day. I strongly recommend this home.
