Stay oh too short but wonderful

From the moment we arrived, prompt desk checkin and then shown to our room, explained how it all works including wifi etc and any problems to contact them. Motel was awesome, large sitting area although did find couch a bit rigid, dishwasher great news, bathroom had fluffy towels always a plus at a motel. Amazing location. across the road to lake, plenty in swimming, icecream and coffee cart right there. Idelic, amazing and definitely recommend . Even waved goodbye by hosts. Love the personal touch

Enjoyed the butter cookie treats baked daily for guests. Rooms 7 & higher (Rooms 7 thru 11?) have nice unobstructed view of Lake Taupo & sunset.

Plenty of parking. The manager was very nice, showed us our room and everything it offered - including homemade shortbread! The room had everything - including a lovely clean open but private thermal hot tub. There wasn't anything missing.

On arriving the room was adjacent to the communal pool. This pool was being repaired with an epoxy resin, the fumes from the repair products were wafting into our room, making it uninhabitable, (pool repair person was wearing full masks with breathing apparatus). Staff were kind enough to relocate us to a different room, the only issue was it was a single room with a pull out sofa. When I queried the difference in price between the 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom apartment, I was told there was no difference, even though the website said otherwise.

Was disappointed with our room booked as we believed it to include a spa pool as advertised. Did not have it. Was given option to change rooms but upon sighting the pool decided NO, but thanks. Our accommodation was tired and in need of a re do. Over priced for what it was. Not like the photos advertised. Would not stay there again.
