If you are looking forward to spend time at their pool look somewhere else. We asked if their jacuzzi was in operation and we were told that the pool and the jacuzzi work with solar panels so only if there was plenty sunlight the pool was available. As you can imagine the water was freezing cold.

Truly enjoyed our stay in the unique hotel located right at the Zocalo of Taxco. Full of charm and character, great pool to chill out after a day exploring the town. Their hotel restaurant La Hacienda serves incredible good food & breakfast. Highly recommend to stay at this hotel.

My first night I had a room for two people with one bed which was a very small room. After that I moved to a room with two beds which was very nice. I would not recommend a Friday or Saturday night stay unless you want to party late into the night as the location is very noisy. However, the weekdays are silent and I would definitely recommend the hotel. The linens were very nice and the terrace bar has a spectacular view of the catedral. The pool in January was too cold for me, but the deck has good chairs for taking sun. I think this hotel is the best in Taxco for location and quality.
