Picture yourself gazing at the stars through the panoramic windows of your dome, feeling the awe-inspiring beauty of the cosmos envelop you. Our space-themed resort combines art, technology, comfort, and the bizarre. Our domes are perched on the side of a 100-foot-tall volcanic hill, offering guests breathtaking views of the sweeping landscapes of Big Bend and the surrounding mountains.While hiking around our volcanic hill, you will find an abundance of weird desert plants, aliens, spaceships, meteors, and other Easter eggs.



We are just a 11 minute drive from Big Bend National Park and the charming Terlingua Ghost Town with it's many shops, restaurants, mines and art. Our galactic resort offers a unique experience atop a 100-foot-high volcanic hill surrounded by majestic meteor rocks. From this vantage point, you can take in panoramic views of the National Park, State Park, Santa Elena Canyonand theChisos Mountainsof Mexico.It's important to note that the hike up to dome 009 is along a steep dirt trail, which can be strenuous for some. The ascent takes approximately 2 minutes on foot and may take longer if you are carrying luggage. While we are more than happy to assist with carrying your belongings whenever possible, we kindly ask that you be prepared to transport your items if our assistance is unavailable.



Inside your Pod, you'll find everything you need for a relaxing stay, including electrical outlets, air conditioning, a fridge, a fan, and even lasers that project iridescent nebulas gliding across your ceiling for a truly immersive experience.Our water comes from a 750-foot-deep aquifer, ensuring it is both soft and clean.Remember that water in the desert is a precious resource, so we kindly ask that you limit your showers to 5 minutes.



Unlike traditional geodesic domes, our domes consist of rigid plastic, allowing us to have crystal-clear windows. With one-third of the dome being a window, you can enjoy the stars directly from your bed or close the massive curtains for some privacy.



Our amenities include shared outdoor bathrooms at the bottom of the hill and indoor bathrooms at the top of the hill. We will provide you with a towel, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You are welcome to use our common grilling areas or enjoy the fire pit located next to your dome.



After a day spent exploring the park, watch the sunset from our hammock chairs and then relax around your own personal fire pit as the stars begin to light up the night sky. At the end of the day,slip undera plush comforter and warmblankets and sleep soundly inthe Pod's memory foam queen size bed.

Pods 002, 004, 005, 008, 009: 3 adults max OR 2 adults + 2 kids

Pods 007 & 010: 2 people max

Pod 012: 2 queen beds | up to 4 adults + 2 kids

Fort 003: 3 queen beds + 2 sofa beds; optional extra memory foam mattress ($95). Max 8 adults.

We will ask you to book an additional Pod if you exceed the capacity.



Pets

$95 fee for up to 2 pets

Must remain on a leash, stay on trails, and never be left alone in a Pod

Pet fee is $95. Any unreported pets will be charged $250.

Pets may not be left unattended inside the dome. Violations will result in an additional fee.

Pods 002, 004, 005, 008, 009: 1 queen bed; additional queen floor mattress available for $95

Same extra mattress option available in Pod 012 and Fort 003



Bathrooms

No bathrooms inside Pods except Fort 003

Two shared bathrooms with hot water and flush toilets

All Pods are 100–400 feet from a bathroom

Fire pit at every Pod/campsite (bring your own firewood)

Check-in Instructions

Use Google Maps (Apple Maps does not work well here)

Assisted check-in: 4pm–9pm

Arrivals after 9pm do self check-in — please notify us in advance

Highly recommended to arrive during daylight

On arrival, ring the bell or text “here for Pod #”

Do not enter the storage/maintenance building



ATV Service (Pods Only)

Available 9am–9pm for Pods 005, 007, 008, 009, 010, and 012

Ring the doorbell at the parking lot and we’ll be there to help you

A $35 fee applies for non-emergency assistance after 9pm



All staff members on the property are present for work or to assist with luggage transportation. Please do not interrupt them while they are working. If you need anything or have a request, contact us directly by call or message, and we will assist you promptly.



Water

Water is not potable in all the property ( fort 003 included )

Please limit showers to 5 minutes to help conserve water



Fire Pit Safety

No fires during windy conditions

If embers rise or blow, extinguish fire immediately

Never leave fires unattended

Fully extinguish with water when finished

No dishwashing allowed on the property

Heavy water misuse by anyone in your party will result in a minimum $100 fine



Pod Locations

Pods 005, 007, 008, 009, 010, 012 and some campsites require a steep uphill hike (2–4 minutes)

ATV assistance may not always be available — be prepared to carry your items

Most accessible Pods: 002, 004, 003, and 005

Terrain may still be challenging for guests with mobility concerns

A YouTube access video will be sent on the day of check-in



Campsite Locations

Volcanic Hill campsites: 4–6 minute steep hike; not recommended for kids under 18

All other campsites are at parking-lot level

We are not responsible for weather changes at the camping site. The locations are on top of a hill, and strong winds may occur. Guests must secure their tents properly and come prepared.



House Rules — Pods Only

Each Pod includes 1 queen bed; additional memory foam floor mattress available for $95

If the extra bed is installed, a Pod can hold 2 adults + 2 kids or 3 adults

Fort 003 can hold 8 adults max or 6 adults and 2 kids (with optional extra mattress)

Washing dishes in Fort 003 is required; a $50–$100 fee applies if left unwashed



Stair Safety

First stair set has no railing — use caution

Assist anyone under 18

Guests are responsible for their own safety

Maximum Group Size at Top Area

Maximum of 8 people allowed at the top area



Safety & Property Guidelines

Property has steep, uneven, rocky terrain — stay on trails only

Wear proper hiking shoes

Wildlife is common (snakes, scorpions, spiders, etc.) — close screen doors at all times

Adults must supervise anyone under 18

Use flashlights after dark — very limited lighting due to Dark Sky Community guidelines

If you choose to leave your pet inside the pod while you’re away, please note that it will be entirely at your own responsibility.

Date Changes & Damages



Changes date fee :50 $

Same-day date changes are not allowed. If accommodation is possible, a $100 fee will apply.



Any changes have a $50 fee

Guests are responsible for any damages to Pods, furniture, appliances, or property

There is a $35 handling fee for mailing back any items forgotten at our property.

Shipping cost is separate and will be added based on the carrier’s rate.

Just share your address and we’ll take care of the rest.

To ensure safety, comfort, and fairness for all guests:



If you arrive with more guests than the maximum occupancy of the Pod you booked, you will be required to book an additional Pod .

If no additional spaces are available, a fee equal to the nightly rate of an extra Pod will be charged, even if the extra guests do not stay in it.



Conduct & Quiet Enjoyment

No fixed quiet hours, but guests must be respectful

Disruptive behavior may lead to removal without refund



Dark Sky Policy

Minimal lighting on property — always carry a flashlight

Arriving before dark is strongly recommended



Nature Awareness

Cacti and desert plants can be sharp — be careful not to touch or step on them

Do not collect rocks or plants
