Excellent break

This is an excellent base for visiting middle Norfolk.The apartment is very comfortable,the owner was very helpful, extremely pleasant and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble.The location on the edge of a golf course had beautiful views, with fascinating wildlife including squirrels, deer, rabbits, and a variety of birds including pheasants, owls and even a Jay. The only reason we gave 4 star for the online listing was that some seating and kitchen equipment is getting a bit tired and we felt that the word "Luxury" was a little misleading, however this is an observation, not a complaint, we would happily go back.

Our stay could not have been better. The combination of location, garden view and friendly neighbours together with forest animals in the garden, yes really a Roe deer and her babies was something totally unexpected. Having an electric car meant that onsite charging took away any concerns and allowed a full charge every morning. Watton as a village is pleasant and only a short walk away. Nice to be in such a rural location but within easy reach of the whole of Norfolk and its numerous attractions. Definitely worth a visit and the hosts are both lovely and accommodating.

Wonderful stay.

A lovely apartment overlooking a golf course, everything you need for a great stay. If I’m being picky the lounge seating is getting a bit past it, but that wouldn’t put us off returning. Beds very comfortable . Bonus of Sky tv with sport & movie channels.

Norfolk stay

Good location for visiting the attractions of Norfolk. Visit Norwich, Cathedral and castle, Oxburgh estate, Sandringham, the coast. Accommodation well maintained and everything to make your stay enjoyable. Lovely peaceful view over the golf course, great to sit outside and relax. Owner a very pleasant gentleman.

Family Stay in the Fields

Rented for a week with my mom (73) and daughter (3) while in south Norfolk visiting family in Hingham, Ashill and East Harling. It was PERFECT for our needs. We used it as our home base between day excursions and it was spacious, comfortable, clean and well enough appointed Beautifully manicured back garden /patio literally on the fairway (with pheasants, pigeons and deer galore in the mornings). Walkable to Watton High Street ...and a farm with a horse down the road perfect for animal encounter for the kiddos :) will be back!

Ideal holiday apartment

Lovely warm feel to the apartment as soon as walked in the door. Geoff the owner is very helpful and sincere amd in hand to help. Very well thought out and attention to detail. Comfy beds. Excellent facilities and well equipped. Hand rail in the walk in shower is excellent. Beautiful garden and patio looking out onto to the golf course. Road to the apartment may be difficult for less able bodied or wheelchair users. Can highly recommend the apartment and would be lovely to return to.

Had a wonderful break away in Geoff's gorgeous apartment. Location was perfect. Apartment was very well maintained and Geoff was very helpful and always on hand to deal with any queries. Very spacious & well-equipped apartment alongside the 18th fairway allows a great view & time to relax. Excellent communication from host Geoff made it easy to get access information & any follow up - we extended our stay from 3 to 5 days. We ended up with a plug-in hybrid car rental so were able to use the charge point which was a geat benefit & easy to use. Sky TV was a bonus great wifi. Full kitchen & washing machine, comfy bed, outdoor space. Quiet location. Enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast at the Willow House in town.

Lovely apartment with everything you could need in a perfect location

Had a lovely short stay at Fairway Drive. Communication with Geoff has been brilliant from start to finish. He has been so friendly and welcoming, and very thoughtful - bringing down a bottle of wine for Martin's birthday. The apartment is in a lovely peaceful location overlooking the golf course. We have enjoyed seeing the pheasants, rabbits, deer, duck and moorhens. The property was very clean on arrival and the welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cookies was a bonus! The brand new bathroom is gorgeous and the shower is to die for. Beds were lovely and comfy, plenty of seating in the living area, outside seating, and everything is provided that you could need. Including sky and WiFi! Thank you Geoff for accepting our last minute booking, for a lovely stay, and for the wine and conversation. All the best, Jen and Martin

Nice relaxing break

This is the first time we visited Norfolk. Plenty to see and do. We enjoyed our stay in Watton, the apartment was spacious and well equipped. The view from the window overlooked the golf course, and it was nice to see the deer and other wildlife in the morning. Host was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us ideas where to go. Would stay again if we we're in the area

An idyllic location and a beautiful well presented apartment, beautiful location

Very well equipped with a beautiful view across the golf course, peace and quiet with only noise from the wildlife. An amazing property i will visit again, a wonderful host with a wealth of local knowledge. Words alone cannot describe how wonderful this property and location are.
