The hotel is located in a lovely spot and a stone’s throw from the ferry terminal. We ate LOLA'S TAQUERIA on Ark Row, delicious! Lots of other restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were a bit dated and not enough places to plug chargers in next to beds (for a family of 4). Lobby and restaurant are lovely. The pool and hot tub were nice to come home to at the end of the day.

I arrived and the hotel did not have one of the two rooms I reserved. They were able to accommodate us into a lower quality room, but I had to take significant time finding a room and then going to management the following day to deal with payment. It put a damper on the start of our vacation. I also wish I had known breakfast is not served until 9:30. Google still shows they are open early. With 4 kids I found that a difficult change. They directed us to the bakery but my kids don’t eat pastries. I’ll be looking elsewhere for reservations in future.

Everyone is very nice that works there. The front desk is very helpful, but my room had so much noise near the fan at the restaurant was very hard to sleep. Make sure there is a quiet room and the lights on the sundeck are turned off.

Quiet hotel with excellent service

The staff here is very friendly and helpful! The restaurant had good food. Lots of amenities and about a 5 minute walk to the Ferry Terminals.

Poor quality “hotel”

Room was old and worn. Coffee maker leaked, one plastic water cup and soap they didn’t lather was useless. Recycle bin was not for recycling- just as a regular rubbish can. AC clicked on and off all night and shook the room, also very noisy. I work for high end luxury hotelier and we would never tolerate this especially for the price. I will not be staying there again.

Nice place outside of SF for vacation. Whirlpool, heated pool, lots of places to walk to. We had a car, but ferry might be an option. Ask for a balcony. Recommendations for 5 star: bathroom outlet nightlight. Closet outside of bathroom. Towel bars and bathroom shelving.
