Excellent value for what you get! The house is close to a lot of great tourist destinations. The host was great with communication, and the house has an amazing setup especially the basement theater/game room! The only two issues we had was the dryer not working and due to a recent leak which was resolved there a lingering musty smell in the basement. The owner is on top of these issues and offered us 25% off on a future stay for the inconvenience. We will definitely keep this house in mind next time we visit the area since we had such a great stay!

The house itself was nice, however there was a plumbing issue the day we got there. A pipe burst (which is not great for the owner of course, I feel bad for that). They messaged us a couple hours before our stay was supposed to start, saying we wouldn’t be able to access the basement, but our stay shouldn’t be interrupted otherwise. They said the leak was stopped and we would be fine in the rest of the house. However, the next day, there were people working in the basement all day, cutting new flooring, blasting music, etc. I messaged the host and tried to revolve the issue, but she said the people working would be leaving soon. They were there from 8-5 pm, it was not soon unfortunately. The basement door also did not lock, so we couldn’t ensure people wouldn’t be coming into the main portion of the house. We also had messaged her about the front door lock not working: she repeatedly told us the door code, and we repeatedly told her that code wasn’t working. I asked for a portion of our money back for the inconvenience, she said she couldn’t do anything but offer us 2 free nights in the future. We ended up leaving early because the noise was crazy, and we couldn’t really leave the house without being able to lock it/get back in. VRBO was able to refund, but the host was unfortunately not helpful in the least.
