The Riande is a very nice hotel and conveniently located near the airport. Checking into the hotel took awhile, but the breakfast and prompt shuttle bus to the airport were great.

Arrived at 1pm. Checked in and was told a room would be ready by 2pm. At 2 pm was told they'd let me know when my room was ready. Finally got a room at 3pm. Garden view is view of parking lot. No refrigerator, kettle or coffee maker in room. Not good value for the money paid. Only good thing is proximity to airport.

I booked a garden view room and I was given a room with a view of the parking lot. When I complained to the front desk and told them I was Expedia Gold they “grudgingly” gave me a room with a garden view and called it my Upgrade. Front desk staff were not at all friendly. Food in the dining room was good and was served hot but the service was only average. Pool area is nice but there were no pool towels. We asked a very friendly young man behind the pool bar and he had some brought to us promptly. His was the only friendly smiling face that we saw working in the hotel. Disappointing as the Riande had been recommended to us by friends.
