Room had crumbs in the carpet, mold in the bathroom, peeling wallpaper, and a previous occupant's food in the refrigerator. The hallways reeked of weed smoke. At least it was pretty quiet.

Property was expensive for an older hotel, but it was fairly clean. The bed linen and room were very clean, but the bathroom could have been cleaner or it could just be the age of the hotel. Anyway, it definitely got the job done and I didn’t get any complaints from my young adults kids who would have said something if it wasn’t decent. Staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in a little early so thank you! The highway was nearby and there are plenty of convenient and decent restaurant options within walking distance.

Some good, some not so good

The reason I did not give a better rating are: The room was dirty all around the perimeter. House keeping should be better. The bathtub surface looked very dirty. Nobody’s key card would not unlock the entrance door from the parking lot, requiring a walk around to the front entrance door every time. There was a sign on the front desk saying the elevator is not functioning to the 3rd floor. Thankfully we were not assigned a room there. On the plus side: The staff was wonderful. The beds very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.

The room was large and the bed was very comfortable and the lady at the Front Desk was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good with waffles, eggs and bacon etc. Room was quiet and the location was very good-right off the highway. The price was also reasonable.

Everything was great, I ended up making my own coffee each morning in the kitchen. That’s ok, I found the supplies. The parking garage was very dirty but it was early in the season. I understand.
