Me and my boyfriend booked a jacuzzi room. We had issues with our key card not working but the issue was quickly resolved. The room was not what we expected at all, there was ALOT of wear and tear, very outdated.. the tv didn’t work the whole stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The staff were very rude, especially the manager. She refused to refund our room even though the smoke detector went off all night, the tv didn’t work, there was no hot water, the juice machine didn’t work, and it was so scary that my husband had to sleep with his gun. When I called the manager she tried denying all of the problems even though the front desk staff said they had multiple complaints. The manager even hung up on me when I tried to complain. She said she didn’t care and that she didn’t have to refund me and then hung up.Horrible hotel!!!

Some quirks

I was booked for three nights. I was originally given a room that was already occupied. So, I had to get a different room. The second room was supposed to be non-smoking but it had a distinct cigarette odor. Also, the TVs (I had a suite with 2 TV's) were not hooked up. I had to hook up one myself. The remotes did not work. I got one remote replaced that finally worked. In the bathroom, the metal frame surrounding the lights in the ceiling was hanging down. Which I felt could be a safety hazard if it came completely off and fell.

There was mold in the bathroom around the toilet and the shower. Roaches everywhere, deadbolt didn’t lock, and a hole drilled in the door that wasn’t fully covered. I think the hole was where the peephole for you to look out was drilled on the wrong end of the door and turned around. They stuffed a piece of tissue paper in there but didn’t fill the whole. I noticed the hole in the door immediately. It was awful. Breakfast I didn’t even touch because if there were that many roaches in my room, I’m sure they were in the kitchen. So left my room early and didn’t eat breakfast. When I awoke, I put my glasses on and immediately noticed the roaches on the console the tv was on. They didn’t even run and I even took pictures of them crawling around. I felt Very uncomfortable and unsafe in this room and with the location.

The main floor room was great. Strange smell though. When I called there at 5 to 2, I spoke to a woman at the counter that was clearly not trained properly or a new staff, and then another woman of an ethnic background jumped on the phone was very hard to understand her. She was all frustrated about something and told me I had to pay $100 deposit and I said no that was never explained. I have already paid by credit card and that I was there for two nights and she raised her voice and said then cancel then we need $100 deposit because people Steal from us and smoke in the rooms, etc. etc. When I walked into the lobby of the SureStay best Western Wokano and the woman I spoke to last was standing there, and I explain to her that we’re staying for two nights. We would check in before check in and check out before the time on Monday the 28th and then she was all fine and sweet. When we left this morning and checked out, I gave her the keys back to the hotel room. She thanked me. She apologized, and we went on our way. I will see this. It would’ve been nice to know that their pool was not ready to go very noisy upstairs. They had a family upstairs running and carrying on and it’s right on a busy street off of the Main Highway.

The staff were great. Unfortunately there was a used syringe in the parking lot and lots of trash on property. Rooms are old, would not to use the shower. Ultimately though I guess you get what you pay for.

Horrible they couldn’t figure out my check in and took an hour to get me a key for my room. The side door didn’t lock so anyone could come into the building.. I go up to my room and the cable wouldn’t turn on no tv so I go to bed i wake up with 10 spider bites on my neck and back the worst place I have ever stayed definitely would not recommend to anyone
