Dock House on erinomainen paikka perheen lomat. Järvi- ja vuoristomaisemat ovat poikkeuksellisia. Olemme sijaitsee koskematon Nantahala järvi, joka on toiseksi korkein järvi itään Mississippi, ja yksi puhtaimmista ihmisen järviä maailmassa. Rising 3000 metriä merenpinnan yläpuolella, pinnanmuodostus tuottaa leuto keväällä ja kesällä. Fall seuraa ihmeellisen luonteen värikkään taideteoksen näyttävällä näyttämöllä - koska syksyn lehdet kääntävät kirkkaita oranssia, keltaisia, karminpunaisia ja kultaisia sävyjä. Talvi on oma viehätys - tarjoaa kävijöille yksinäinen idyllinen talven ihmemaa.

Dock House oli mukautetun suunniteltu sopimaan sen ympäristössä ja on ehkä lähimpänä kotiin Nantahala Lake. Kansi on pelkkä 10 metrin päässä rantaviivasta, joka tekee helpon kävelymatkan päässä ylimitoitettu telakka. Myös lähes joka huoneeseen on näkymä järvelle, myös master suihku, poreallas alue ja sauna. Laatta ja liuskekivi valittu kylpy huonetta lisää lämpöä ja rauhaa, että Nantahala alue on tunnettu. Silestone työtasot ja gourmet-keittiö tehdä aterioiden valmistukseen ilo! Meillä on tilava kannet, jotka ovat täydellinen auringonottoon, lukeminen, rentouttava ja perhe ulkona kokoontumiset. Kotimme on myös varustettu iso tv ja biljardipöytä. ! Ainutlaatuinen 3 makuuhuoneen suunnitelma tekee siitä täydellisen pariskunnille tai perheille. Parvella on 2 kerrossänkyä, joissa on täynnä pohjaa ja kaksoset sekä kaksi muuta erillistä vuodetta! Joten, siellä on runsaasti tilaa jopa 8 lapselle!


Dock House on todella ainutlaatuinen kotiin. Voit kertoa katsomalla miten talo sulautuu vuorenrinteellä. Sivusto oli huolellisesti valittu optimaalisen näkyvyyden ja sadonkorjuun upea punainen tammia, jotka jauhettiin laaja parkettiliiketoiminnan ja muotoiltu osaksi kaunis käsijohteet eteiseen ja parvi. Viesti ja palkki sisustus rakennettiin koko valkoinen tammi virkaa ja karkea sahattu valkoinen mänty palkit, jotka enimmäkseen tuli talon sivuston hyvin. Räätälöityä ovet, keittiön kaapit ja ainoa laatuaan keittiön pöydän olivat kaikki käsin tehty antiikin musta saksanpähkinä puu, joka räjäytettiin alas myrskyn läpi Andrews, NC toukokuussa 2002.


Nantahala alue on paljon tarjottavaa perheille, jotka haluavat luoda ihania muistoja! Viihde harrastajat nauttivat Mountainside Theater, joka sijaitsee keskeisellä cherokeeintiaani Maa. Teatteri on kuuluisa tuotanto "Unto Nämä Hills", joka on elävä uudelleen säätämistä tarina cherokeeintiaani historiallinen "Trail of Tears" matka. Three letters describe the home and our experience: W-O-W…and the only small suggestion I would have is to put some friction strips on the dock ramp. The lower lake level created a steeper incline on the ramp, which coupled with moisture and made it overly slippery. Several of us fell or fought to stay upright. Otherwise everything else about The Dockhouse was absolutely perfect! It’s a beautiful home, that is very well appointed, extremely comfortable, and has stunning views. We’re already talking about hopefully renting it again someday!

This house is amazing. We brought our boat and had no problem putting it in at the free public boat launch which was just around the corner. The dock is new and in great shape. The kids fished and jumped off it. There is not a lot of houses on the lake and thus not much boat traffic. There is one little restaurant that has a marina. The food was pretty good but you have to bring your own alcohol. They will deliver you pizza by boat to your house. Pretty cool. The driveway is very steep but there is room to park towards the top. If backing up and down hills is an issue for you this is not the house for you. Everything was clean and well maintained. Michael was attentive and answered all my questions. The beds were very comfortable. The area is very remote and not close to much to do. So if you are looking for close proximity to amusements this is also not a house for you. Andrews is a half hour away and they have a good brewery, bar, and a coffee hut. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay.

We loved this house so much & plan to rent again! It exceeded our expectations in almost every respect & we definitely recommend!! Note: we’ve provided feedback on a few minor things. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake!! Loved layout of outdoor spaces: Deck area very spacious with lots of seating to view beautiful sunsets! Nice dock provides easy access to lake. Loved hot tub & used daily (please provide test kit/essential chemicals to keep it nice)Kitchen/dining area very nice & well appointed…had everything we needed to cook/serve all our meals.. Plenty of dish towels, kitchen essentials & cleaning items under sink but bring your own paper products & extra trash bags! (Note: dishwasher needs attention-had black mold)House is absolutely beautiful with all but one bedroom having view of lake! Nice decor. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms nice & had most of what was needed but bring toilet paper! Note: Loft BR must use bathroom downstairs.Beautiful Master has big closet, double shower & nice jacuzzi tub (didn’t use because it’s in full view of parking area). Sauna across hall from Master. 2nd Master very nice too but guest said shower (drain) needs attention (odor). We could have used a few more towels with everyone swimming/showering every day…had to wash every towel every day to have enough. Suggest bringing extra towels for swimming.Access to property (driveway!) extremely challenging (steep/narrow). Checkout a bit cumbersome for price charged.

Family vacation

We had a great time. Always a great stay at the dock house. Enjoyed the lake and everything we needed was at the house. Lakes end marina was always pleasant and had our rentals ready for us and at the house waiting. Dock house has room and a beautiful view of the lake. Would definitely recommend your stay here.

Incredible Lake house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Dock House! Incredible views from all rooms. We enjoyed the deck space and covered seating area. Boat dock is very nice and kids enjoyed the kayaks! We spent a lot of time fishing and relaxing on the dock. Rented a boat from Lakes End Marina and they delivered/pick up to the house dock. Beds & couch were comfortable and we enjoyed playing pool! There is a regular carafe coffee maker with kureig pod option as well. Gas grill and smoker available for use. The driveway is very steep as stated in the description so we were prepared. We arrived in day light and were able to carefully back down the driveway with our large SUV. There are two other parking landings if you are not comfortable backing all the way down. I would still suggest backing down to the landings. We had a great family vacation!Thank you Mike for sharing your beautiful home!

Dock House

The location of the house is incredible! No mention the steep driveway and need for a small all wheel drive vehicle….very important! No mention you need to arrive before dark-critical. The house is very quirky and interesting. The refrigerator and freezer was dirty upon arrival. The chairs around the dining room table were cool looking but the cushions were beat and in need of replacement. The lazy susan in the kitchen was hanging by a screw and filthy inside. The remoteness of the area was fantastic. The Marina delivering a boat to the dock also amazing. The house from the driveway to the dock is very steep (somewhat obvious from the pictures) but no mention, not for elderly folk or the faint at heart. We enjoyed our stay despite the problems. The house is great- it needs a lot of TLC.

Beautiful Home, Very Secluded, Starlink not working

Home is beautiful, beware of the driveway, may have been the listing and I missed it but there is an added fee of 235 for house cleaning. In our case the Starlink was down the whole stay (could not communicate with anyone text or phone) and we were there for my sons wedding. Owner did no communicate, respond quickly or fix the problem. If your plans are to have everyone you are traveling with be at this home and off the grid, its perfect, if you need to communicate with anyone not at the home you will have problems.

Wedding Weekend

The pictures do not do this place justice. Beautiful attention to detail and top rate luxury!! And a view to match. Mike was a responsive host. The house is close to the Nantahala wedding venue, which is why we were in town. We were able to watch Sunday football outside while enjoying a lovely fire. Perfect spot for relaxation with friends and family.

The Dockhouse is really amazing. I was in with family for my daughter’s wedding at Nantahala and the location was perfect. It was spacious and had many things to do. The views of the lake from all over the house were breathtaking. The driveway is VERY steep so be aware but we made it work.

Mountain Lake Fun

We loved this property. The house was perfect for 2 families, total of 9. We just loved having coffee on the deck overlooking the lake in the morning and enjoyed renting a pontoon boat and jet skis from the local marina. It’ secluded and peaceful. We definitely be back.

Amazing property, best we’ve stayed at in Nantahala!

We had a party of 10 ranging from 16 to 78. This place had something for everyone. We brought a 21 ft boat and trailer and while the driveway was steep and daunting at first we were able to back down into the parking are and have 2 cars(mid and full size suv) at the bottom by the house with another mid way down with the trailer in the flat storage area that has plenty of storage for cars and trailer. Easiest way to the bottom is to back down so you can drive forward on your way out although I was able to spin the car at the bottom but only if there is only one car there. The great thing about this property is that it is very close to the lake. Only 27 steps to the dock which in this area is really nice. Dock is large and easy to dock. Room for 2, 20ft+ boats easy. It gets a little hot on bare feet mid day but splash some water and your are good. 3 kayaks there are a great addition. The views are spectacular from the deck, pavilion and every room. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook meals. Pavilion is cozy at night and we lit fires there or just hung out in the hot tub or couch. Main floor is great for activities and everythjng is accessible while still providing some separation between the pool table and tv area and the kitchen/dining area. Trash disposal is within a couple of miles as is the marina which is nice if you want to grab a meal, rent boats etc. can’t say enough about this place. Absolutely loved it! Thanks Mike!

A beautiful vacation in a stunning location that created many great memories. I highly recommend this house for a mountain lake getaway!
