Schöne Aussicht

Es gab keine Mängel, schöne Aussicht auf den Vesuv, super zum Baden. Wohnung war auch groß genug für 6 Personen. ...und für den Lärm und die schmutzigen Straßenecken kann der Vermieter ja nichts.

Emplacement idéal

L’appartement est très bien situé à proximité des commerces, restaurants et de la plage. La voiture reste nécessaire pour se déplacer pour les différentes excursions qui se trouvent à côté. Le propriétaire, Mr Pio est charmant et disponible pour ses hôtes. Nôtre séjour fut parfait.

Très bel appartement propre et moderne, juste à côté de la plage. Magnifique vue de la baie de Naples (couchers de soleil ++) depuis le balcon. Bien situé pour visiter Naples, le Vésuve, Pompei… Propriétaire très attentionné et disponible.

Brilliant host, excellent location, lovely appartment

Mr Pio greeted us at the apartment - despite our flight being late for him. Torre Del Greco is an Italian town - no tourists - little English spoken - which was just what we were looking for. It's also the perfect location for the attractions around. Car needs to be parked in secure parking €5/day - 2 mins walk. Host will arrange. Apartment has amazing 270 degree views. Vesuvius out the back and the sea front out the front. Clean, tidy and comfortable inside. Balcony was well used! Train track out the back means you may be woken by an early train - but really not a big deal. Busy road out the front was great for watching the world go buy. You can't hear traffic with windows closed. Air con, if you need it. Mr Pio the host took us to Naples station for our day trip to Rome and picked us up - which was incredibly kind. He was immediately available on Whatsapp whenever you needed him and generally couldn't be more helpful. 100% recommend a stay here - you won't regret it. Thank you Mr Pio!

Très belle vue

Tout était parfait sauf le bruit. l’appartement entièrement refait avec goût est très agréable ! Vue sublime sur la baie de Naples et sur le Vésuve. Les taxis collectifs passent juste devant, si vous avez votre propre voiture vous pouvez la garer dans la rue sans problème! Il y a plusieurs restaurant dans les environs. Le seul problème c’est le bruit! La voisine qui bouge les chaises vers minuit plusieurs fois. Le bruit du vent quand il souffle en rafale! Les nuits furent compliquées!

Wohnung sehr gut - super Aussicht - viel Straßenschmutz

Die Wohnung ist geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ordentlich ausgestattet (es fehlen - aus deutscher Sinn - nur ein Wasserkocher und eine Kaffeemaschine). Der Vermieter war sehr, sehr nett und absolut zuverlässig. Die Aussicht auf den Golf von Neapel (vorne) und den Vesuv (hinten) ist großartig. Im Haus war's ruhig. Nahebei gibt es mehrere kleine Alimentari zur Grundversorgung. Auch Cafés sind vorhanden. Leider ist das unmittelbare Umfeld recht schmuddelig. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist stark befahren.

Séjour familial patrimoine, gastronomie et accueil chaleureux des napolitains

Revenus enchantés de notre 1er séjour en famille en Italie avec accueil discret et chaleureux de Mr Pio. Charmant appartement pour 4 avec vue directe sur le Vésuve et la Mer Tyrrhénienne. Voie ferrée derrière l'immeuble mais peu dérangeant ( pas de train la nuit). Situation idéale pour partir en visite dans la région, en transport notamment pour Naples ( taxi collectif en bas de l'immeuble à 1€/pers+train à 4€/pers A/R) ou en auto (petite ou moyenne) avec petite place sécurisée ( pour Pompéi, Herculanum, Vésuve, Côte Amalfitaine, Pouzzoles...). A proximité de l'immeuble, cafés, épiciers, restaurants pour faire ses courses et une pharmacie si nécessaire. La ville Torre del Greco, station balnéaire, est connue pour son art ancien des bijoux en camées et en corail à visiter. Juste un bémol sur l'organisation des poubelles dans toute la région !

Parfait

La location est tres bien équipée, spacieuse, confortable. Récemment rénovée et tout propre. Il y avait meme des produits de nettoyage, des serviettes de bains, des produits de base pour faire la cuisine... Rien ne nous manquait. Un petit bé-mol pour ceux qui n'aiment pas etre dérangés la nuit par des bruits : les voisins regardent la télé la nuit ce qui se fait entendre dans une des chambres. Quand on leur a fait signe á travers le mur, ils ont baissé le volume - donc ca marche. Et en aucun cas ce n'est pas la faute de Signor Pió qui a fait tout pour que notre séjour soit parfait. Déjá avant notre arrivée on a recu un tas d'informations tres utiles. Il nous a indiqué les visites á faire, les moyens de transport, les restos oú on a meme eu des forfaits grace lui. C'était vraiment des infos pratiques, bien préparées pour ceux qui aimeraient découvrir la région. Je ne peux que conseiller á tous le restaurant La Pergola oú on a mangé chaque soir. Toujours de bons plats, spécialités napolitaines, de bons pizzas. Info : meme si c'est écrit que la voiture est recommandée, d'une facon totalement imprévue, nous y sommes arrivée sans voiture : il est vrai que la location se trouve assez loin de la gare, mais un service de taxi collectif fonctionne dans la ville pendant la journée. En plus, cela fonctionne plus que bien et ils s'arretent devant l'immeuble meme. Ainsi, regagner la gare ou la ville ne pose aucune difficulté sans voiture. Et puis je remercie de nouveau de la gentillesse du propriétaire : on avait le sentiment d'etre recus dans sa location comme si on avait été ses invités : il nous a attendus á la gare, il nous a offert du vin ... En un mot, Signor Pió est le propriétaire idéal pour des vacances impeccables. Grazie per tutto, Signor Pió.

The perfect apartment in Bay of Naples

In brief: 5-stars apartment in Torre del Greco (large, beautiful and well equipped) with amazing view to the Bay of Naples, and with a very helpful and nice owner :-) Thank you so much Mr. Pio! He gave us cold water and vine in the fridge, coupons to some restaurants in Torre del Greco, and a parking place in the courtyard. Long feedback: The beach is front of the house. Perfect location to discover the surrounding area (event without car): Torre del Greco, Naples, Sorrento peninsula and the Amalfi coast, Capri, Vesuv, Salerno, Herculaneum and Pompei. If you are here don't miss to visit the best restaurants and pizzerias in Italy: La Pergola (Torre del Greco), L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele, Decumano 31 and Pizzeria Nennela (Naples), Pizza a Metro - L'Universita della Pizza (Vico Equense)

Nicely refurbished apartment with beautiful view towards the sea and also towards the Vesuvius

We rented this property on the fourth floor of 12 Via Litoranea, Torre del Greco in mid August. We found the apartment very clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony towards the sea is beautiful and the back balcony offers a nice direct view of the Vesuvius. The living room/dining area is very ample as well as the two bedrooms. There is a washer in the bathroom and the kitchen is well equipped (no dishwasher, though). There is an air-conditioner in each room, very much needed for the hot days of August. There is also free WiFi for up to 4 or 5 devices. Dogs are allowed, which for us was a plus. The owner, Mr. Amato Pio, is a friendly and helpful person. We had very good communication with him per Email and WhatsApp, and of course, in person. As stated in the description, there is parking available inside the premises, but access is easy only for small cars - medium sized cars may have to maneuver. Ours was a large car (small bus), and we had to park on the street, but Mr. Pio offered to pay the daily parking fee of 4 Euro. This property will suit well those who appreciate the convenience of just crossing the street and finding themselves on the beach and those who don't want to drive around much. Some advice although: Attractive and well known places as Pompeii, Vesuvius, Sorrento and Amalfi are close but only as the crow flies. Getting in a and out of Torre del Greco takes time and then the roads to those places (except Pompeii) have dense traffic in summer and at some points are quite narrow. It takes 90 minutes to reach Amalfi. If going to Vesuvius on your own - with no excursion/tour -, be ready to find parking quite far and to take two or three shuttles before finally reaching the start of the path to the crater. Capri? - Make a reservation (expensive) and leave Torre with sufficient time to find your ferry or parking. Torre del Greco is neither pretty nor clean and the beach front was very crowded during the day, the sand is black and sticky, and traffic noise persists well into the night. Grocery stores on Via Litoranea are small and many were closed afternoons. In summary, this is a very good apartment and it is our impression that its conveniences can be better enjoyed during the offseason.
