Although compact the room had everything we needed including a refrigerator with a freezer. The shower was great with plenty of hot water with good pressure and the showerhead was at the perfect height. It was very convenient to Bryce Canyon and the coffee shop and pizza place across the street had good food. The only down side was that the air conditioner unit was incredibly noisy and made it difficult to sleep.

I was quite disappointed with my stay. The room amenities felt outdated, and the bathroom sink was especially unpleasant—if a real picture of it had been shown on the booking site, I wouldn’t have reserved this room. The room also had a strong moldy smell that became noticeable shortly after the initial perfume scent faded. The bathroom itself was quite small. While I appreciated the quiet exhaust fan, it only activated when humidity levels were high and couldn't be easily turned on manually, which was frustrating. Another issue was the lack of service in the evening. After dinner, I returned hoping to ask about switching to a different room due to the smell, but there was no one at the front desk to assist. Overall, I wouldn't choose to stay here again unless there were significant updates and better service availability.

The proprietor was wonderful and so helpful! We developed car problems and he helped us in finding someone to work on it. The room is simple but clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, including microwave, refrigerator, great bed, lots of hot water and nice shower. Can't recommend it enough!

Cute independently owned property near Bryce

Great stay near to Bryce Canyon. Owner was very friendly. Clean property with the basic essentials needed. Nice little sitting area outside.

Suite was exactly as pictured. Bed was nice. kitchenette had dishes, utensils, etc. coffee and tea were provided . Bathroom was clean and shower/tub was good. Well worth the price. tropic is close enough to Bryce and other parks. We enjoyed our stay

Had a very nice evening at Bybee’s Steppingstone Inn. The owner/operator was super friendly, providing us all the essential information we needed. The room was clean and comfortable and the grounds made you feel right at home. It’s a stone’s throw from Bryce Canyon so it’s a great option for those who don’t want to stay in Bryce Canyon City.
