Looks good, fails on basics

Rooms were clean and nicely designed, though the sink in the bedroom and shower opening straight into it felt improvised and odd. Staff were kind but very young and a bit clueless. The real issues were with service: despite requesting a cot for our daughter, none was provided, we were told at 10:30pm (4 hours later) they were “finished,” and only given a changing mat. At breakfast, a sign at the entrance instructed guests to clear their own tables, which felt ridiculous in a hotel setting. Decaf wasn’t served unless we took capsules to make it ourselves in our room. With the excuse of “eco-friendliness,” we felt that toiletries were minimal and there was no bottled water in the rooms. Overall, service and standards fell well below what you’d expect at a 4 stars hotel.

Das Zimmer bot alle gewünschten Annehmlichkeiten plus Sicht über die Stadt, dieses Mal nach vorne raus und das Zimmer war leicht grösser. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das nahe liegende Parkhaus „Parking gare de Troyes - EFFIA“ ist modern und verfügt über Ladesäulen für e-Autos. Wir können das Hotel gut weiterempfehlen.
